Obituary: The ninth of nine children, she was born to Nina Zuleka Harris Wiley and William Oliver Bud Wiley on 26, 1940 in Strawn, Texas. She moved with her family in 1953 to Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School. She attended Amarillo in 1959. Doris married the love of her life, Danny Dixon, on May 4 1974. Danny preceded her in death in 1995. Doris retired from the United Postal Services in 1995. Previous employers had been Amarillo Public Library and Amarillo Police Department . She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sisters Patsy Jean Griffith of Odessa and Wyneta Marie Walker of Amarillo; Brothers John Oliver Wiley of Newark, Delaware and Kenneth Dean Wiley of Amarillo. She is survived by brothers Jess Donald J.D. Wiley and Herman Lee Wiley both of Amarillo; Sisters Wilma Ruth Harris of Amarillo and Nina Muriel Davis of Brownwood: numerous nieces and nephews, and her caretaker and best friend Tony Gann. under the direction of Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Directors, Amarillo, TX. |

Obituary: Cooper Dixon, age 4, of Temple passed away peacefully with his family at his side on , 1, 2011 in a Fort Worth Hospital. Cooper was born 31, 2006 in Temple, Texas to Joshua Dixon and Jessica Cain. He was a loving, warm spirited child who loved many things in life. He is survived by his mother, Jessica Campbell and her husband Bryan of Temple; his father Joshua Dixon and his wife Laura of Dallas; maternal grandparents, Anna Petty of Oklahoma, Mike Petty of Temple, Vada Oliver of Oklahoma, Andy Craft of Temple, Patricia and Lonnie Rushing of Temple; paternal grandparents, Keith and Donna Dixon of Temple, Sandi and Greg Kozar of North Carolina and Encarnacion and Sotera Martinez of Laredo; a brother, Brayden Campbell of Temple; a sister, Brionna Dixon of Dallas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family of Cooper Dixon will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. , 5, 2011 at Crawford-Bowers in Temple. services will be 11 a.m. , 6, 2011 at the Belton Church of Christ, 3003 North Main Street in Belton, Texas. Interment services will follow in Bellwood in Temple. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Matson, Wayne Morgan, Keith Dixon and Lonnie Rushing.
