Obituary: Clara Mae Sims Needham Dixon Born May 16,1921 in Scott, Arkansas Went home with the Lord May 4,2014 Clara was one of 12 children born to Effie Jane Hackler and James Edward Sims and is preceeded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters and two husbands. Clarence J. Needham Jr. and George Dixon. She is survived by her sister Opal Smith and her husband Verlyn, son Michael W. Needham his wife Dwan, Step daughter Dorothy Dixon Kirsh her husband Ken and step son Ronny Dixon. She is leaving behind her beloved grandchildren, Shane Needham, wife Ashley,Tanya Needham Fennell, Saundra Needham, Amber Kirsh Alexander and husband Adam, Eric Kirsh, Mark Kirsh and wife Nicole. Great Grandchildren, Alisha Fennell, Paige Needham, Prestyn Needham, Audrey Alexander, Margo Alexander and Weston Alexander along with Jake Kirsh and two step great grandsons Jaiden Myers and Jared West. Along with numerous nieces and nephews,her friends and last but not least her wonderful hospice team with Southern Hospice and the caregivers at Royal Manor in Hewitt, TX. Clara retired from Merchants State Bank now known as Comerica Bank as a Lead Teller and was a life long member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She enjoyed riding horses and shooting rifles with husband CJ as well as fishing and family gatherings. CJ's death she enjoyed life as a single mother raising their son Michael. Years later she met an old friend George Dixon who was a widower and they married blending a grown family. enjoyed traveling and fishing and being with their growing families as well as church activities. She also had a great love of animals and last sent Mike and Dwan to adopt a male boxer she had fallen in love with just by his photo with orders of not to come home without him if he got along with the female boxer that was already in the home. He came home that night and was known as "grandma's dog". Clara didn't ask for much, just to be with her beloved family and pets. She will forever be in our hearts filled with her love. Obituary: Charles W. Dixon, 91, of Texarkana, AR passed away 4, 2016 in a local hospital. Mr. Dixon was born 23, 1925 in Oeniville, TX. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force and a veteran of three wars - WWII, Korean war and Vietnam war. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Martha Dixon, Rick and Frances Dixon and Roy and Lori Dixon; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Ronald Henderson; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Obituary: Delores was born 21, 1921 in Hector, Arkansas to Otho Luther and Laura Mae (Bradford) Tredwell. She married the love of her life David Dixon on 22, 1939. Delores was a member of Sunset Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering, crocheting, making Afgans, fishing and traveling in their motor home. Delores retired from the School Snack Bar in Coronado High School. She is preceded in death by her husband David; her parents; brother, Allen; sister, Reba; daughter-in-law Sharon; great grandson, Bruce Bracht II; and great granddaughter, Shara Pierson. Delores is survived by her son Wendell Dixon; daughters, Catherine King and husband Gerry, Joyce Boyd and husband Ted, Loretta Carlegis; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Rita Loomis of Hartville, MO.
