Obituary: services for Barbara Ann Dixon, age 72, of Brownwood will be held , May 31, 2015 at 3 PM at the Davis-Morris . Burial will follow at Bangs . The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Dixon died at her home , May 27, 2015. Barbara was born 8, 1943 in Brownwood, Texas to Henry Floyd and Cora Myrtle (Norris) Bowden. Barbara wore many hats throughout her life, but her greatest accomplishment was her children and grandchildren. She loved them all dearly. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her daughters, Kara Dixon of Lake Brownwood; Lorie Dixon of Brownwood and Laura Wilson and husband, J. of Goldthwaite; brother, Tommy Bowden of Concord; father of her children, Harold Dixon; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Obituary: Audra Lois Fox Dixon, 90, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on 4, 2016. A funeral service will be held at Hampton Vaughan on , 8, 2016 at 10 a.m., with Pastor Rick Allen officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will greet friends and relatives at a visitation on , 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hampton Vaughan , 1917 Archer City Highway. Born and raised in Bowie, Audra moved to Wichita Falls soon after she graduated high school. She worked as a nurse for 35 years and retired in 1985 so she could watch her two granddaughters. Her hobbies throughout the years included wood working, painting and remodeling. She was also part of completely rebuilding her home after it was destroyed in the 1979 tornado. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Floyd Dixon, daughter Connie Baker and her husband Robert. She is also survived by granddaughters Darlene Cotton and her husband Ken and Kathy Dickson and her husband Kenneth, along with four great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. Audra loved the Lord and was a long time member of Western Hills Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rd, 76310.
