Obituary: Charles Duke Dillon died 30th 2014 surrounded by the people he loved most in life. He was born 9, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas the son of Ester Fleishman Charles (Chuck) Dillon and twin of Duke Charles Dillon. Charles (Charlie) spent most of his childhood in Houston and graduated from University of Houston. He went on to have a successful career in the medical industry. He was a multi-talented person who could light up a room with his personality and smile. retiring to Marble falls he spent most of his time trying to tame his Hill Country property and enjoying the company of family and friends. He is survived by his wife Mary Katherine, son, Christopher and wife Marina Dillon, Daughter Suzy and husband Justin Tacl, grandchildren: Alex, Ava, Chase, Claire and Zoe, twin and special friend, Duke. Brother and Sisters; Brian, Sue and Anseth. Sister-in-law, Helen and nieces Jeanne Brantley and Wendy Perque. Charlie fought a long and brave fight against a disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Obituary: Carl Dillon, 96, of Beaumont passed away on , 1, 2014. Carl was born on 9, 1918, in Corsicana, Texas, to Henry L. Dillon, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth McMullen Dillon. He served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy as a naval aviator. Carl received a Masters degree in education from Stephen F. Austin University. He was a math teacher and coached golf and tennis throughout his teaching career in the Beaumont school systems. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening and excelled at both. Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Dillon; his parents; his sisters, Ethel Dillon and Mary Dillon Powers; and his brothers, Cecil Dillon, Ray Dillon, Henry Dillon, and Wayne Dillon. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Dee McMinn and numerous nieces and nephews. service will be held on , 12, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn prior to the service. Obituary: Betty Lynn Dillon , 68, of Lubbock passed away 17, 2016. She was born in Lubbock, Texas on 22, 1948 to Andy and Rudell Saddler. She married Don Dillon on 7, 1966. Betty had a career in real estate and assisted her husband in their home building business as designer and decorator for 25 years. She was a member of West Texas Builders Association. She enjoyed painting, camping in the mountains of New Mexico, Caribbean cruises, boating at Lake Alan Henry and being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Leon Saddler, of Bovina, Texas. She was survived by her husband, Don, a daughter, Cindy Allen, two grandchildren, Lindsey Allen and Bradley Allen, three great-grandchildren Ella, Nia and Ely Esparza, and a sister, Karon Campbell and her husband, Marlin, all of Lubbock. Obituary: Ann Dillon of Fort Gratiot, died May 28, 2017 in Round Rock Texas at the age of 77. She was born 28, 1939 in Jeddo, the third child of Nicholas and Amelia Fekete Toodzio. Her early childhood was centered around life on the family farm. As a first generation American, time was spent tending to the sometimes unpleasant but necessary tasks of farm life during the 1940s and 1950s. Despite the hard work, she would always find time to play in the woods with her brothers and sisters. A true natural beauty with a keen sense of style, she caught the eye of a young GI. In 1961, she married James Walter Dillon. Together, they raised 7 children. She was a devout Catholic and hopeful with the direction Pope Francis is taking of her beloved faith. Living on Lake Huron provided a beautiful backdrop for making family memories. Several nieces and nephews recall the good times they had with Aunt Ann. She was a legendary baker, fabulous gardener and a consummate recycler. She had a steadfast belief that EVERYTHING could be reused. Although widowed at the age of 57, she was never alone, be it adult children, siblings, grandchildren, nieces and nephews stopping by. She was always available to lend an ear and give advice. In 2013 Ann suffered a major stroke. Miraculously, she survived and survived well. During her recovery, she told us that the Virgin Mary appeared to her to lead her to Heaven, but she wasn ready. Her youngest daughter Shelly became her caregiver and amazing nurse for the last several years. developed a mother daughter relationship that few experience. On May 28, 2017 Ann suffered another major stroke. We are all sure this time when she saw the Blessed Mother with her outstretched arm, mom took her hand decided her work here on earth was complete. We are comforted with the knowledge that she died gracefully and is now surrounded by the peace she so rightfully deserves. She is survived by her 7 children, Rae Ann, Rhonda, Ressa (spouse James), James, Shelly (spouse Percy), John, and Peter. Her grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley, Shelly Sue, Riley, Reid, Jack, Gillian and Renee. Her siblings Olga Wright, Eva Mertz (spouse Bud), Nick (spouse Linda) and Emil (spouse Karen). She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving her is her dear childhood friend Pug (Frances) Bonkoske. She was preceded in death by her husband James, brother Leo, and her Godson Scott Mertz. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on , 9, 2017 in Pollock-Randall . A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass will be held at 11:00 am , 10, 2017 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society. May God Bless you Mom on your way to Heaven.
