Lurline was an avid world traveler throughout her life and spent her career with Tenneco for 40 years prior to her retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Walter E. Diener, Jr., Milton L. Diener and Allen A. Diener. Obituary: Norma May Diemer was born in Golden, Colorado on 4, 1917 and died on 6, 2016. She was preceded In death by her parents, Peter Frederick Diemer and Mabel Adams Diemer and by her brother, Raymond Adams Diemer. Miss Diemer spent her childhood in the coal mining town of Gebo, Wyoming. She graduated from Gebo High School in 1935 with a scholarship to attend the University of Wyoming and received her teaching certificate there in 1937. Her first teaching job was in Hamilton Dome, a small oil camp near Thermopolis, Wyoming. From there, she moved to Robinson, Illinois with her parents. While teaching in small towns in Illinois and Indiana, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana State Teachers . Because she missed the West of her childhood, she taught for a short time in Ronan, Montana then returned to Illinois during World War II, where she taught school throughout the 1940s. In 1952, because her father was in poor health, she and her parents moved to Midland, Texas to be near her brother, Raymond, and his family. In Midland, she taught second, third and fourth grades at West Elementary. Miss Diemers former students and colleagues will remember her as musically and artistically talented. She often wrote plays for her students, creating scenery and costumes by hand, and accompanying the performances on piano. In 1968, she earned her Master of Education Degree from West Texas University. She taught fourth grade at Sam Houston Elementary in the 1970s, where she especially enjoyed encouraging her students to succeed in math and science. She retired in 1979. Miss Diemer was active in her First United Methodist Church School class, the Womans Club, and her garden club during her retirement. She also continued many creative activities in needlework, painting, and ceramics and leaves behind many wonderful works of art. Miss Diemer is survived by her two nieces, Frances Diemer Cook (Michael Cook), and Linda Diemer Brown (Doyce Brown); four great nieces, Jessica Cook (John Harvey), Joanna Cook (Mike Lung), Nicole Ott (Bobby Ott), and Rayelin Brown, and her great great nieces and great great nephew, Opal and Charles Lung, and Jordan and Tatum Ott. Also surviving Miss Diemer is her ever faithful feline companion, Thomas. A graveside memorial service was held on , 9th. Obituary: Leo M.J. Dielmann Jr., loving and much loved husband, father and grandfather passed from this life on , 3, 2000. Mr. Dielmann was born on 10, 1925, the third child of Ella Marie Wagner and Leo M.J. Dielmann. He was born and raised in King William and attended St. JosephÂs Catholic School. graduation from Central Catholic High School in 1942, he entered Texas A & M University, interrupting his studies to serve as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army during World War II in the Philippines. He was honorably discharged in 1946 and returned to A & M to complete a Bachelor of Architecture and was graduated, class of 1946. Upon completion of his architectural training, Leo was associated with his father in business. Later, he established his own independent practice, and designed many beautiful churches, residences and commercial properties in San Antonio and South Texas. He was always interested in civic affairs, serving as past president of the San Antonio Boys Club and running for the Texas Legislature. He was the past president of the San Antonio Chapter of the Texas Society of Architects. He also was a member of the Order of Alhambra Bejar Caravan No. 56, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Catholic Life Insurance Union, St. Joseph Society, the Harmonia Lodge of the Order of the Sons of Hermann and Knights of Columbus. Leo was an accomplished artist, working in all medium. One of his passions was music and he sang with the San Antonio Liederkranz, following a tradition established by his father and grandfathers. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Leo M.J. and Ella Wagner Dielmann and his sisters, Inez Dielmann Mueller and Helene Dielmann Hasdorff. Leo loved his family above all. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Barbara Pluecker Dielmann; daughter, Barbara Ann Dielmann; son and daughter-in-law, Leo and Jackie Dielmann; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Scott Davies; His grandchildren were the lights of his life: Max and Taylor Davies and Zachary, Trevor and Lucas Dielmann. He is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tom and Claire Pluecker and nephews Bill and John Pluecker; nephews and their families, Lee and Julie Mueller and Mark and Pat Mueller. Leo had two adopted sons, Jesse Cardenas and Esteban Pedraza, who lovingly cared for him and were his arms and legs. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends will also miss him.
