Obituary: Grace Fisher DeuPree, 89 of Dallas, passed away on 10, 2017. Born on May 20, 1927 in Gladewater, Texas to Robert Fisher and Colista Davis Fisher, she married Charles Lamar DeuPree on 26, 1946. resided in Dallas from 1951 until present. Lamar retired from the Oil Business, they spent their time traveling and actively participating in numerous organizations and societies, including Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames of America, just to name a few. raising her four daughters, she enjoyed needlework and genealogy. She was lovingly known as Honey by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren She is preceded in death by her husband Lamar and her parents. She is survived by her four daughters; Della Grace Johnson, Anne Colista Duke, Cecilia Valerie Carlson (Steve) and Elisabeth Frances Isbister (Joe); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, extended family and numerous friends. Obituary: On , 7, 2017, Dr. Bryan Deuermeyer, 66, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, following a lengthy battle with frontotemporal degeneration, a type of dementia. Bryan was born in Aitkin, Minnesota to Walter and Marjorie Deuermeyer. He graduated from McGregor High School and went on to complete a B.A. in Chemistry at the University of Minnesota-Duluth campus. He went on to complete a M.S. and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University in Industrial Engineering. Bryan started his professional career as an assistant professor of quantitative methods in the Krannert Graduate School of Business, Purdue University. He then went on to complete a 28 year career as associate, then full professor in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. He filled several administrative roles in the department as well as teaching, mentoring students and publishing research. Bryan was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church where he served on the vestry and participated in the music program. He will be remembered first and foremost as a loving, deeply caring and wonderful husband and father. He also had a passion for teaching and mentoring students. Bryan loved music, golf and above all, anything chocolate. He is preceded in death by his parents. Bryan is survived by his wife Sally, twin daughters Elizabeth Deuermeyer Ph.D., Anne Martin and husband Mitchell, granddaughters Lily and Emma Martin, brother Bradley Deuermeyer and wife Shirley, sister Renee Fliss and husband Greg, niece Jami Nyberg and husband Glendon and great-nephew Noah. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Bryans life on 18, 2017, at 3:00 P.M. at St. Francis Episcopal Church, Station, Texas. Obituary: Billie Fern Deubler passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Service: 3 PM at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes in Fort Worth. Burial is at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Billie was born on 7, 1934 to William and Blanche Stevens in Poolville, TX where she grew up and graduated Valedictorian with the class of 1952. Soon after graduation she married Winston Deubler and they began to expand their family. Billie worked many years as secretary to the principal at Burleson High School, later moving to administration and retiring from that department. In her free time Billie gardened, sewed lots of clothing for her family, and became quite the entrepreneur with EBay. She would collect and gather antiques, china, silver, depression era glass, clean the item up and sell it on EBay. Her family remembers her fondly not being able to make some outings because she had an auction about to be over. Billie was a devoted wife to her husband, a caring mother to her children and a doting grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She has joined in Heaven her parents and husband of 60 years, Winston Deubler. Obituary: Erin Williams Detwiler, 95, of San Antonio, died May 8, 2015, at the Army Residence Community, her home since 1987. Mrs. Detwiler was born 30, 1920, in Forsyth, Georgia, to Dr. Guy W. Williams and Erin (Howard) Williams. Her father died before her first birthday, and from the age of four, she was raised in part by her step-father, John Thomas DeBardeleben, a Chaplain in the United States Army, whom she adored. She graduated from Bayside High School, Bayside, Queens, New York, in 1938. She continued her education at Randolph Macon Womens , Lynchburg, Virginia, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She married Second Lieutenant Robert Putnam Detwiler on 17, 1941, in Columbia, South Carolina, following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. met as teenagers in the Panama Canal Zone, and over their lifetime together, they lived in the Philippines, Okinawa, England, Germany and from coast to coast, border to border, in the United States. Throughout her life, she was an active church and community member. As a young wife and mother, she volunteered her time as a nurses aide during World War II. She served as president for several of the many Officers Wives Clubs she belonged to around the world. When she lived in El Paso in the 1950s and 60s, she was an avid member of the Republican Party. In San Antonio, she was for many years a member of Bible Study Fellowship, for which she taught childrens Bible classes and later an adult class. Similarly, she taught childrens and adult school classes at McArthur Park Lutheran Church. settling at the Army Residence Community, she taught an adult Bible class for a number of years. She also enjoyed being an ARC Angel in the facility, pushing wheel chairs and juice carts, and serving at parties and playing Bingo for the residents. She especially enjoyed being with family, and she was well known by her many friends for her wit and caring personality. She is survived by daughters Mary Katherine (Kit) Stone, Erin Dorothy (Dot) Lucas and husband Dr. T. Charles Lucas, and Ann Elizabeth (Bette) Martin and husband Louis B. Martin; grandchildren, Susan Erin Stone, Robert Jerry Stone III and wife Michelle, Taylor Nash Stone and wife Jennifer, Rollin Stone Skowronski and husband Anton, Christopher Charles Lucas and wife Cindy, Scott Alexander Lucas and wife Karen, Dr. James Beeman Lucas and wife Kristi, Lisa Whitecotton Wilkiewicz and husband Sobek, Kathryn Whitecotton Wilson and husband James, and Catherine Fisch Woerheide and husband John; twenty-six great grandchildren, Addie, Sutton, Emily, Sarah, Mary, Vivienne, Genevieve, Josh and his wife Alexandra, Katie, Timothy, Jessica, Matthew, Megan, Jack, Erin, Lindsay, Weston, Amy, Aidan, Morgan, Nick and his wife Vanessa, Jason, Laurel, Daisy, Will, and Stuart and his wife Amanda; great great granddaughter Kinsley; her brother John Thomas DeBardeleben, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceasing her were her husband, Colonel Robert Putnam Detwiler; her parents and step-father; two brothers, Guy Watkins Williams, Jr., and Robert Howard DeBardeleben; her sister, Mary DeBardeleben Moore; granddaughter Erin Elizabeth Lucas; and great grandson Colin Taylor Stone. Burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National and will be for family only.
