Obituary: Beverly Jane Denman, age 96, of Smithville died at her home , 6, 2016. She was born 28, 1919 in Smithville to Grover C. and Margaret Mae (Gundelach) Mounger. She returned to Smithville after working many years as the Administrative Assistant to the President of Houston Community . Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Denny Denman, and her two beloved children, Karen Denman and Jay Denman; her parents, Grover and Margaret Mounger, two brothers, Billy Mounger and Grover Mounger, Jr., and two sisters, Margaret Rhodes and Jo Anne Davis. She is survived by one brother, Philip Mounger of Austin, two nephews, Tommy Rhodes and his wife Carol of San Antonio, Tim Davis, of Austin, two nieces, Merrilyn Henry of Alabama, and Terri Jurena and her husband, Maurice of Caldwell; three great nieces and their husbands, Lindi and John Herford of Caldwell, Lani and Chris Norman of Ft. Worth, and Jill and Roger Lee of Station. And last, but not least, a precious great, great nephew, Cash Everett Herford of Caldwell. Also, many beloved friends! Obituary: Betty Lou Denman, age 79, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at her home on 15, 2010. She was born on 31, 1931 in Waskom, Texas to Newton M. and Edith L. (Wilson) Looney. She attended school in San Antonio, graduating from Harlan Dale High School on May 24, 1948. Betty married William Russell Denman on 26, 1950. moved to Austin from San Antonio in 1969, where they both worked for SWB and AT&T. She was a member of Celebration Church in Georgetown. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, who passed away on 23, 2008. She is survived by her son, Alan Culberson Denman of Austin; sister Frances Kunze of El Campo; and brother Donald and wife Shirley Looney of Houston. She is also survived by many other relatives from both the Looney and Denman families and many friends, who will all miss her dearly. There will be a visitation for family and friends beginning at 2:30 p.m. , 18, 2010 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville. services celebrating her life will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Obituary: Services for Amos Lynn Denman, 64, of Huntington, will be held at 10:00 a.m. , 17, 2015 at Highway Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington, with Bro. Lamar Denby and Bro. John Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunk Havard . Lynn was born 25, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas. He passed away , 13, 2015 in a local hospital. Lynn graduated from Huntington High School in 1968 and attended Angelina . As a high school student, he worked at Carrells Grocery and Jim Nerren Texaco. He worked for Owens-Illinois for 2 years as a press operator and then transferred to the Woodlands for 11. He knew then what his calling was. He married the love of his life, Sundra Harris, on 18, 1972. She was his high school sweetheart. He worked for Louisiana Pacific in Jasper. In 2002 he partnered with Randy Winston to form Winston-Denman Timber. He loved the outdoors, working with forestry judging teams and coached many 4-H and FFA, leading them as a mentor to win State many times. He and Sundra started Lizas Garden on 13, 2010. He said instead of buying flowers for Sundra, he bought her a flower shop. God and his family were the most important things in his life. He never met a stranger and always considered it a blessing to help others. He was a very positive person and would always say If thats the worst thing that ever happens to you, youll be doing alright. He never missed any event that his grandkids were in and got to witness his grandkids getting saved and following the Lord. He was a member of Highway Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a School Superintendent, Deacon and Teenage Teacher. He was a member of the Huntington Housing Authority Board, the Board of Texas Department of Agriculture, Past Texas Forestry Board of Directors, Current Education Committee for TRA, State Chairman of Upper Neches Woodland Clinic, Past President of the Huntington ISD School Board, member of Upper Neches Soil & Water Conservation District, Past Board of Directors of Lake Sam Rayburn Conservation, member of the Huntington Business Owners Association, and Huntington Economic Development Board. Lynn is survived by his wife, Sundra Harris Denman of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Paul Howard of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Lori Denman of Huntington; grandchildren, Kelsey Lynn Howard, Addie Dale Howard, Emmy Lou Howard, LJ Matthew Denman, and Bryce Joshua Denman; mother, Mildred Clark Denman of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Carolyn Denman of Buffalo; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Mike Black of Gurdon, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Iva Dell Harris of Huntington; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, other family members, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Leslie Denman; and father-in-law, LJ Harris. Pallbearers will be Delton Smith, Roy Parker, Randy Winston, Josh Jones, Robert Denby, Jason Whittermore, Kenny Nerren, Ron Hufford, Frank Shockley, Ricky Mills and Ricky Gay. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Highway Missionary Baptist Church and his many other friends, too numerous to list. Obituary: Charles Reed Denker, a long-time resident of Houston, Texas, joined his beloved wife Maria in heaven on 15th, 2015. Born on 6, 1934 in Wilmington, Delaware, he lived in several South American countries before finally arriving in Mexico City in 1941. Charles returned to the United States graduating from Vermont Academy in 1951. He then received a degree in Geology from Yale University in 1955 and immediately began work with Geophysical Service Inc. Charles worked in West Texas, North Africa and South America before settling down to raise a family with Maria in Houston until he retired in 1986. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria Desouza Denker, and son, Edson Denker.
