Obituary: Randi A. Davisson , 47, died suddenly in Houston on , 16th. Born and raised in Absecon, NJ, Randi first moved to Houston in 1981. She attended U. of H. and began her career at Charles Schwab & Co where she worked until 1997. She then worked for Fruth Investment Management until 2007. Long-time member of Heights Exchange Club. Randi was a genuinely loving and devoted friend. She treasured her family and friends and was the official keeper of every sentimental tradition, memory, and tidbit of information. She will be remembered for her smile, her outgoing personality and her ability to find humor in even the strangest things. Randi is preceded in death by her father, Robert H. Davisson. Survived by her mother, Dorothy Davisson, brother Robert Davisson and wife Tina, sister Mary Robbins and husband Brad, nieces Kristin and Katie Davisson and nephews Matthew, Ben, Nicholas and Sam Robbins. Obituary: CHARLES E. DAVISSON JR. Charles E. Davisson, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on , 9, 2015 at Midland Memorial Hospital. Charles was born on 19, 1939, the oldest of 4 boys , to Charles E. Davisson, Sr. and Frances Lanier Davisson. He graduated from Odessa high School in 1957 and joined the Army in 1960 and served in Korea. He married Elaine Prickett, on Nov. 24, 1978 in Odessa. Charles grew up at Calvary Baptist Church and later joined Belmont Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. In his life Charles worked as an electrician, an office machine repairman, and as a parts manager at several dealerships in Odessa & Midland. In his retirement he served as a temporary parts manager and did inventories in New Mexico and Texas. Charles could fix anything from an earring to a computer. He was a sweet and funny man. Even in his battle with Alzheimers and Parkinsons he was able to retain his sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James O. Davisson. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; brothers, Fred (Glenda) Davisson of Odessa and Paul Davisson of Abilene; brother-in-law, James Prickett & wife Ronna of Baytown; sister-in-law, Paula Lasiter & husband Jeff of Coppell; several cousins and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Maggie. I would like to thank the Aides & Nurses on Hall 1 at Buena Vida for their kindness to Charles. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm , 12, 2015 at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Rev. John McLemore officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation, Midland Hospice or Belmont Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly . |
