Obituary: Timothy A. Davis of San Antonio died 23, 2004, at the age of 24. Tim was born on 12, 1980, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to James M. Mike and Carolyn Y. Davis. He will be greatly missed by his parents, his brother Christopher and wife Robin and their two children, Zachary and Ashley, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his brother Brian of Bethesda, Maryland; his brother Robert and wife Laura of Richardson, Texas; his best friend Chasity McCoy of Rockdale, Texas; his grandmother Betty Hinshaw of West Liberty, Ohio; his grandfather Marvin Hinshaw of Edgewater, Florida; his grandmother Maggie May Davis of Dunwoody, Georgia; his aunt Marlene Hinshaw Cooley and her husband Dan and their two children Sara and Keith of West Chester, Ohio; his uncle David M. Hinshaw and his wife Ruth of Edgewater, Florida and their daughter Michelle of Greensboro, North Carolina; and his uncle Charles Davis of Kailua, Hawaii. Tim was a 1999 graduate of Churchill High School where he played trombone in the Charger Band and a 2004 graduate of Texas A&M University where he was active in Alpha Phi Omega fraternity, organizing blood drives and coaching youth softball. He was a member of Coker United Methodist Church. Tim enjoyed all sports and participated in McAllister Park Little League Baseball, Coker United Methodist Church youth basketball, and football at Eisenhower Middle School. At the time of his death, Tim was living in Clinton, Missouri, and pursuing entrance into the United States Army to train as a helicopter pilot. |

Obituary: Tie was born 2, 1930 in Baylor Hospital to Noah Schley and Gussie Merle Dielman Davis. He passed away on 10, 2010. Tie, his brother Dick and sister Doris, were raised on Hanover Street and attended University Park Grade School where Tie met many of his life long friends. He was a proud member of Troop 70 Boy Scouts where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Highland Park High School and Texas A&M University with a degree in Architecture. serving as a First Lieutenant with the Combat Engineers in Korea, Tie returned to Dallas and married Yvonne Van Duzen who he first met as a teenager at the Webers Root Beer Stand on Oak Lawn. He practiced Architecture in Dallas with his business partner, J. Murray Smith, for over forty years. Tie was a Charter Member and Life Deacon at Park Cities Baptist Church. He considered the most rewarding times in his life the moments he spent with his family and friends which included his high school pals, members of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and the Herbert Howard Bible Class. Each one of these friends knows who they are. Tie is survived by his wife Yvonne; his son Stephen and his wife Joan, granddaughters Katherine and Caroline Davis; his daughter Madeleine and her husband Douglas, grandsons Nathaniel and Tie Smith. He is also survived by his brother Noah Richard (Dick) Davis and his wife Sandra; sister Doris Sosnowski and her husband Walt; along with numerous nephews and nieces. Services will be held at Park Cities Baptist Churchs Ellis Chapel at 2:00 pm on , 13th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: N. S. (Tie) & G. Merle Davis Trust at Buckners or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Department at UT Southwestern. |

Obituary: Thomas Edwin (Tom) Davis, 66, of Apple Springs, TX, son of the late Edith (Roach) Davis and Rolland Davis, was born 11, 1945 and passed away May 12, 2011 in M. D. Anderson Cancer of Houston, TX. Mr. Davis was born in Lufkin and graduated from Apple Springs High School in 1963. He attended Iron Workers Apprentice School for four years and then worked for 37 1/2 years at Valero Energy, retiring on 31, 2011. He married Betty Warren on 2, 1965. He liked fishing and hunting with his grandchildren and gardening. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and daughters. He was a member of Bible Believers Church of Centralia. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Betty (Warren) Davis of Apple Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and David Cruse of Angleton, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Lari and Victor DeLeon of Sante Fe, TX; grandchildren, Josh DeLeon, Colton Myers, Hayden Myers, Trenton Myers, Eva Cruse and Hannah Cruse; mother-in-law, Florene Warren of Sante Fe, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Neal and Patricia Davis; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Bobby Bentley and Betty Harvey, all of Apple Springs, TX; sister-in-law, Bonnie Davis of Winsboro, TX; brother-in-law and wife, Roy and Cindy Warren of Sante Fe, TX; nieces and nephews, Lagette White, Adam White, Angie Barbe, Patty Berry, Randy Bentley, Jason Bentley, Susan Henderson, Chris Davis, Rex Davis, Lisa Matthews, Debbie Murphy, Stacy Kukuk, Roy Warren, Jr.; and numerous great-nieces and nephews; and many friends. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Davis; grandparents, Woody and Jenny Roach, Delbert and Iver Davis; nephew, Woody Lynn Davis; father-in-law, Weaver Warren. Pallbearers will be David Cruse, Victor DeLeon, Greg Myers, Colton Myers, Hayden Myers, Trenton Myers and Eva Cruse. A special thank you to Dr. Tom Willis and all employees of Diagnostic Association and Dr. Mavis Fujii and all doctors and nurses at M. D. Anderson Cancer of Houston. Services for Mr. Davis will be held at 1:00 p.m. , May 16, 2011 in the Gipson Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion . Obituary: Thomas Michael Davis, 89, of Houston Texas passed away peacefully on , May 13, 2015. He was born in Houston, TX on 24, 1925 to Abe and Genevieve Ruby (Monoghan) Davis. He graduated from Jeff Davis High School. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy in 1941 and served for four years during WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1945, achieving the rank of Boatswains Mate 2nd Class. He married Mildred Dolores Lawrence on May 25, 1950 in Houston TX. were married for 64 years. He enjoyed golf and coaching little league (baseball, football, and softball). Thomas was always known for his keen sense of humor and brought laughter to all who loved and met him. He will be remembered lovingly and deeply missed. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Abe and Genevieve Ruby (Monoghan) Davis, his brother John Davis, and his sons Samuel Joseph and Steven Michael Davis.
