He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Olive Falvey Davis; his daughters, Carol Davis West and husband, David Blair West of San Antonio; Mary Austin Davis Wilde and husband, Stephen Wilde of San Antonio; Hallie Davis Doyle and husband, Michael James Doyle of Denver, CO; his son, Reagan Hunter Davis of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Olivia Hunter West, David Bond West, Reagan Holton West, Austin Michael Doyle and Harrison Bond Doyle; brother, Franklin C. Davis, Jr.; nieces, Mary Bond Austin Hart of San Antonio; Elizabeth Austin Conner of Houston; Laura Armitage Davis of San Antonio; nephews, Edward Hebert Austin, Jr. of San Antonio and Franklin C. Davis, III of Dallas, TX. He practiced law in San Antonio for sixty years and was highly respected by his peers for his integrity and his professional talent. working in the District AttorneyÂs office under John Shook, he practiced law with his father, Franklin C. Davis. In 1951, Bond joined the firm of Gresham, Davis, Gregory, Worthy and Moore. He was a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association. He was educated at Travis Elementary School, Mark Twain Junior High School, Main Avenue High School, Jefferson High School second graduating class, the University of Texas at Austin T-Man, and the University of Texas School of Law. He was devoted to his God and his church, to his country and his community, friends and his family; and served them all well. He was a life long member of First Presbyterian Church where he taught in the church school and served as a Deacon, an Elder and a Trustee. He was proud to have served as a navigator in the United States Air Force for five years during World War II retiring with the rank of Major. He was stationed in Virginia, Canada, Newfoundland and England and Bond maintained the friendships made during those years throughout his life. He served on numerous community boards, among them the ChildrenÂs Service Bureau, Harry Jersig Speech and Hearing , the Y.M.C.A., Chairman of the Board of Morningside Ministries, Air Force Village and the United Way. He proudly served as City Attorney of Alamo Heights for nine years. He cherished his friendships made through the years in various groups such as Camp Stewart, Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at the University of Texas, Conopus Club President 1962, San Antonio German Club, Argyle Club, Old Friend Hunting Group, and the Young Business MenÂs Democratic Luncheon Club All are Republican now. He also served on the boards of the San Antonio Country Club and the Order of the Alamo |

Obituary: Bobby Joe Davis, 59, of Ben Hur, passed away , 20, 2016 at his residence. A memorial service will be held, 1:00 PM, , 23, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Mart, with the Reverend Jim Ingram officiating. Mr. Davis was born on , 7, 1956 in Frederick, Oklahoma to James William and Rudean (McClure) Davis. He attended school in Mart, Lake Dallas, Marlin, and graduated from Jacksboro High School. Bobby was the very first State Champion in the Punt, Pass, and Kick Contest of Texas. He loved fishing and barbequing, but his true love was his family. He was a farmer and hay bailer. Mr. Davis owned and operated the The Lighthouse Café, in Mart and hosted the Lions Club meetings. He managed the Ben Hur Bar with Teressa, the love of his life. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father in 2001. Obituary: FORT WORTH -- Bob D. Davis, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, passed away , Sept. 27, 2015. : 11 a.m. in Shannon Rose Hill Chapel. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill . Visitation: 10 a.m. , prior to the service. Bob was born Aug. 9, 1934, in Denton to Opal and Euclet Davis. His parents helped establish Temple Baptist Church, and it has flourished so well that they now have schools. Bob worked at Lockheed for 44 1/2 years in the Master Tactical Aircraft System, as a configuration manager on the B-36, B-32, B-24, B-58, F-111 and F-16. He married Roberta Margaret Ramsey on Oct. 22, 1954, the love of his life who gave birth to four daughters, three of whom were identical triplets. Roberta died 1, 1975, and he never remarried. He would go on to raise his daughters, all while working at Lockheed and the Fort Worth Stock Show as the parking superintendent for 27 years. Bob had been a deacon at Worth Baptist Church and a Christian with faith at greeting his beloved Roberta in heaven one day. Survivors: Daughters, Margaret Dawson and husband, Jery, Marlene Glaze and husband, Brad, Melinda Wells and husband, Todd; grandchildren and pallbearers, Micah, Matthew, Jared, Cole, Davis and Ramsey; and great-grandchildren, Dylon and Lilly. |

Obituary: Bobby Ray Davis May 12, 1941 - 7, 2014 Bobby Ray Davis was born in Brownsville, Tennessee to James and Kathleen Davis. He graduated from Haywood High School in Brownsville. working as a machinist, he joined the U.S. Army, he was honorably discharged at Ft. Polk, Louisiana, after attaining the rank of E7 and serving 20 years. During this time he was stationed in Korea and Germany as well as Ft. Riley, Kansas, and Ft. Hood, Texas. retiring, he worked for Central Texas and pursued self-employment opportunities, to included home repair, wood crafts, and tool sharpening. He liked nothing better than being with family, friends, or acquaintances, sharing stories and jokes. Bobby married Sharon Ann Poling on May 28, 1978 and they had two daughters, Michelle Nicole and Amanda Megan. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and half brother, James R. Davis. Survivors included his wife, Sharon; daughter, Michelle Davis; daughter, Amanda Malhstedt and husband Steven; daughter Teresa Arnold, her children Leslie and Amber and grandchildren; grandchildren Ritchie Baez-Davis, Kali Samantha Brewer, and Callen Hunter Malhstedt; sister Dorris Ann Garton and husband Chuck; brother Billy Lynn Davis and wife Debbie; brother Jack E.
