Obituary: Eileen Dahl, a resident of San Antonio since 1984, was born in Scranton, PA, on 30, 1932, to Ambrose and Reinelda Mulderig, went to be with the Lord on 2, 2003. As an opportunity to travel, she joined the Air Force during the Korean War, serving as a national recruiter. Upon completion of her tour of duty, Eileen attended Ohio University, where she met her husband, Walter Dahl. married Feb. 9, 1955, in Chicago. a 25-year career as the ultimate homemaker, traveling with her husband to his assignments across the country, Eileen began a new career at the Dallas Morning News as assistant sales manager of the Texas Almanac. In 1984, she and Walt moved to San Antonio. Eileen enjoyed a highly successful career with the San Antonio Light from 1984 until its closing in 1993. As an account executive, Eileen won numerous awards, including the prestigious Hearst Corp. PublisherÂs Eagle Award. An accomplished cook, musician and gardener, Eileen joined Walt as longtime members of Sonterra Country Club, spending much time playing golf together. also volunteered annually for the Texas Open and Champions PGA Tournament. Eileen will be missed dearly. Eileen is survived by her husband, Walter Dahl; daughter, Christiane of Fort Worth; son, Scott of Dallas; son, Timothy and wife, Sylvia of San Antonio; granddaughters, Gabriela and Valerie of San Antonio; sister, Ann Neary of Moosic, PA; sister-in-law, Betty Bonjour and husband, Steve of Charlotte, NC; brother-in-law, Richard Dahl of Hendersonville, NC; plus numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and lifelong friends. |

Carl was born in Prescott, AZ on 25, 1947. Carl retired from the Army after 22 1/2 years of service. He served in Korea, and 3 years in Vietnam, where he received many honors plus a Purple Heart. Obituary: Alfred Leroy Dahl, 89, of Fort Worth, passed away on 28, 2017. Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00pm , 25th at Meadowbrook United Methodist Church, 3900 Meadowbrook Dr., Ft. Worth 76103 Alfred was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Florence Colby and Martin L. Dahl on May 19, 1927. He graduated from Paris High School in Paris, Texas in 1944. He went on to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas in 1949 and a Masters in Education from Texas Christian University in 1970. In 1955 he was drafted into the US Army and served as an engineer at White Sands, New Mexico. He worked as an engineer for Texas Electric Service for fifteen years. He taught Math and Science for twenty four years, most of those at Eastern Hills High School. He was recognized by The Texas Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers in 1972 for Excellence in Physics Teaching. Alfred was a member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church where he sang in the chancel choir, taught school, accompanied the youth on several mission trips and served on numerous boards and committees. His civic activities included; Meadowbrook sector zoning committee, precinct chair, and election judge. Mr. Dahl was proud of his Norwegian heritage. He visited Norway on three occasions to connect with distant family. He was an avid fan of Texas Rangers baseball. Al had a deep love for all kinds of music, particularly classical and sacred music. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Charlotte Threadgill and his brother Roger Dahl. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy M. Dahl, daughters Narnie McCahan and husband David, Louisa Dahl-Tillson and husband Robert, sons Martin and wife Lynda, Alan and wife Natalia, grandchildren, Colby McCahan, Cooper and Grace Tillson and Lila Dahl-Ruiz. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Heifer International (www.heifer.org), 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, AR/USA 72202 or Fort Worth Area Habitat for Humanity (www.trinityhabitat.org), 9333 N Normandale St, Fort Worth, TX 76116 Als last two months were spent under the loving care of his wife and four devoted children in the home he built with his own hands. Obituary: Dagnal Jr., Clarence Wilson, 83, of Richardson, Texas passed away 4, 2014 following a brief illness. He was born 25, 1931 in Dallas, Texas to Pauline Limerick and Clarence W. Dagnal. He was the last of five children and was forever known as Sonny by his four older sisters and subsequent family members. To his friends, he was C. W. or Dag. He married Susie Faye West on 30, 1949 and they shared nearly 55 years together before her death in 2004. The last six years he has shared his life with a wonderful lady, Billie Longley. His greatest regret is leaving Billie too soon. C. W. was the founder and owner of Dallas Fire Protection along with his wife. He was a Mason and a Shriner. But skeet shooting was his passion. He was a member of the Dallas Gun Club, the Grand Prairie Gun Club, the NRA, the Texas Skeet Shooting Association and the National Skeet Shooting Association. During his nearly four decades of shooting, he earned numerous awards including All American honors several times. His skills were widely known and he was still competing, and was competitive, until six weeks before his death. His award for the 1994 Grand Prairie Gun Club Vintage Shoot Championship summarized his expertise as a marksman by saying he winner of this award has demonstrated a true sportsmans talent. All in the skeet shooting community will miss his talent, humor, kindness, and friendship. His parents; his wife; and his sisters, Dorothy Hosley, Kathleen Clasby, and Lorraine Philbeck preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Norma Williams; loving companion Billie Longley; his nephew, Richard A. Hosley II and wife, Cyril; niece, Linda Gilley and husband, David; nephew Robert Hosleys widow, Carol Hosley; niece, Patty Taylor and husband, Larry; nephew, David Feemster and wife, Linda; niece, Sandy Green and husband, Dick; nephew, James Williams; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was a kind and gentle man, a loving brother, uncle, companion and friend. We will all miss him greatly. A visitation will be held 1:30-2:30 PM , 9, at Restland Memorial Chapel with funeral services begining immediately following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in C.
