Obituary: Mrs. DeLozier passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on 24, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home. She loved being with her grandchildren, sewing, quilting, studying the Bible, and attending the Perry Burch School Class. Preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Lorene Faust, son, Kenneth Wayne, and brother, Melvin Francis “Sonny” Faust, Jr. Survived by husband of 55 years, Robert E. DeLozier, Jr.; sons, Curtis ( Rita), Michael Scott (Kelly), Daniel (fiancé, Vivian Jean) 6 grandchildren, Jayde (Daniel) Carpenter, Aubree, Hannah, Jarrett, Selene, and Eva; sister, Vickie (Kenneth) Meriwether; nieces, Annie (Todd) Ewing, Leaha (Javier) Anguiano, Faith (Cameron) Grant, and Melissa Ballard; nephew, Melvin Francis “Bubba” (Kathy) Faust, III; numerous nieces and nephews on the DeLozier side; other relatives and special friends including Anna Sneed, Carol Locke, and Kent Hunter. A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and her nurses, Abby and Sherry and members of the Vultee Church of Christ. Visitation will be held from four o’ clock in the evening until eight on , 25, 2017 at Woodlawn. Service will be held at one o’ clock in the afternoon on , 26, 2017 at Woodlawn with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vultee Church of Christ or charity of your choice. |
