Obituary: Graveside services for Kimberly Ann Dry will be held on 19th, 2017 at Swimmer with Pastor Sam Keener officiating. Visitation will be held on , 16th, 2017 at Reed-Culver Chapel beginning at noon until 6:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Swimmer . Online condolences for her family may be left at www.reedculver.com. Jason Dry, Clayton Dry, Jacob R. Dry, Joey Gritts, Micah Gritts, and Caleb Gritts are serving as pallbearers for Kimberly. Honorary pallbearers include Dean Gritts, Terry Gritts, Dove Freeman, Eli Duffield, Chase Still, and Ernest Tiger. Kimberly Ann Dry was born on 7th, 1967, in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of William and Lila Lee (Gritts) Dry. She attended school but had always wanted to raise a family. She had three son sand three daughters, and she was so very proud of her family. She devoted her entire life to raising and caring for her family. Whenever she wasn cleaning house or cooking meals, she could be found down at the old fishing hole, either fishing or swimming, or out in the fields, picking berries. She loved to play cards, watch a movie, and cheer for her favorite wrestling team. She was a Baptist by faith and attended First Indian Baptist Church of Tahlequah. She enjoyed meeting her friends and gospel singing. The Lord called this good and faithful servant home form her labors on 16th, 2017 in Tahlequah, OK, surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her mother and father. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons and daughters, Carl Lee Clayton, William Dwayne Clayton, John Scraper Clayton, Katherine Louise Dry, Callie Marie Dry, and Patricia Shyanne Lee Clayton, all of Tahlequah, OK. She leaves two sisters, Nancy Carol Dry and Mary Sue Dry all of Tahlequah, OK. She lives on in her 6 grandchildren, Jax Carlile Overbey, Katrina Leola Clayton, Kaylyn Terra Dry, Henry Dawn Cavilee, Ukyiah Ray Sanders, and Jordan Clayton, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones. |

Honorary pallbearers include Paul Braun, PJ Bluebird, Jason Grasshopper, and Don Scott. Charles Selden Buster Dry was born on 15th, 1954 in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Charley and Betty Lee (Cook) Dry. He attended school in Tahlequah. Buster was a man of many talents. He had spent time in California and appeared in several movies, and after joining the Screen Actors Guild, playing Native American characters, his last film being White Buffalo. He supplemented his income as a security guard for Giorgio Perfume. When he lived in the Tahlequah area, he spent the mornings gathering with friends at McDonalds for breakfast and a chat with some coffee, changing locations to Carls Jr. on s. He liked to explore for treasure at flea markets and garage sales, chatting with fellow enthusiasts, collecting guns and figurines. He adored any time spent with his family, especially his nieces, nephews, and cousins, gathering to share a holiday meal, getting their favorite drink and delivering it to them at work, or just a quiet afternoon with a cup of coffee. He loved to chat and had a delightful sense of humor. He was so very proud of his Native American History, and always portrayed his characters with depth and emotion. He enjoyed the moments he had to its fullest, never taking a single minute for granted. He passed from this life into eternity on 7th, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK with his family by his side. Charles was 61 years young. He will be missed. Buster is preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law, Charles Rock Locust. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Charissa Lanae Dry of New Mexico, one brother, BJ Dry of Tahlequah,OK, one sister, Mary Jo Locust, his nieces and nephews, Rochelle Locust, Rocky Locust, great-great niece AhLena Rochelle Cypress, great nieces Dakota and Chayme, great nephews, Jordan, Sage, Elias, Rocky Jr., as well as many friends and loved ones. |
