Obituary: DONNELL, Clem, A loving family says goodbye to Clem Donnell after 94 fulfilling years. Born to a large family in southeastern Ohio, he moved as a young man to the Dayton area and found his home. He enlisted in the Navy and found himself thrust into duty on the Tennessee when Pearl Harbor was bombed. During leave in New York City, he met the love of his life Joanne Swanson and after a whirlwind courtship, they married a year later on 7. serving in the Navy, he returned to Dayton where he and Joanne settled and began to raise a family and start a business. A natural entrepreneur, Clem began his own plumbing company in a little shop on the same corner as their house on Carlisle Ave. so that Joanne could be nearby when the kids came home from school. Donnell Inc. grew to become one of the largest commercial plumbing companies in the Dayton area thanks to Clem's strong work ethic and commitment to customer service. His greatest professional pride was installing all of the processing piping and equipment for the Cargill plant. When Clem retired, he and Joanne moved to their dream home on Sanibel Island, Florida where he loved to fish, play golf and spend time with many dear friends. later moved across the bridge to Fort Myers and finally back to Dayton to be close to family. Some of Clems finest moments came on the golf course where he shot five holes in one and found himself in a foursome with American hero Neil Armstrong. He was a proud member of the Dayton Masonic and an Antioch Shriner. Clem lost his dear Joanne in 2013 after 70 years of marriage but life continued to be filled with family and friends. Clem is survived by his daughter Carol and her husband Steve; son Ted and his wife Karen (Wintrow); Grandchildren Todd Elson and wife Kristen, Marcy Elson and Lucas Donnell; great-grandchildren Nik, Madison, Mallory and Eian Elson and Megan Fitzsimmons. The family will greet friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45420, , 14, 2016, from 5:00 to7:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 7 pm. Obituary: Randy P. Donley, age 59, of Mineral Ridge, as well as Avondale, AZ., passed away unexpectedly on , 11, 2017. Born 15, 1957, in New Castle, PA.; he was the son of Paul and Shelba (Dorsey) Donley. While living in Ohio, he worked for Indalex Aluminum in Girard for 25 years; most recently he worked in Guest Services for the Arizona Diamondbacks as well as the Phoenix Suns. He enjoyed working alongside his sons to collect celebrity autographs; he also collected comic books. He enjoyed traveling and attending sporting events with his sons. Besides his mother, survivors include his wife of 38 years, Patricia Patty; sons Kevin and Greg; a sister Cyndee (Guy) Lowes; numerous nephews and nieces; as well as his dog Abby. He was preceded in death by his father Paul in of 2015. Friends will be received at the Lane , Austintown Chapel, on from 4-6PM; where services will be held on , 17, 2017 at 10:30AM. Obituary: Mineral Ridge – services will be held 2 PM at the Lane Family , Austintown Chapel celebrating the life of Paul Donley, 85, who passed away morning at Hospice House. Paul was born 26, 1930 in New Castle the son of the late Edward and Cora (Stillwagon) Donley. He retired from the Maintenance and Truck Repair Department of General Motors in 1998, after 32 years of service. Paul was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War, and a former member of Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. He loved camping and enjoyed his pets, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul leaves his wife the former Shelba J. Dorsey, whom he married May 21, 1955, two children Randy Donley of Mineral Ridge, and Cynthia (Guy) Lowes of Holden, WV. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Michael, Alisa, Kevin, Brittany, Gregory, Arielle, and Zachary, as well as four great grandchildren, Kaylee, Sophia, Naomi, and Kylan. Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by four brothers, and nine sisters. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM at the Lane Family , Austintown Chapel where services will be held at 2 PM on .
