Obituary: Jeannette Jan (Shain) Domokos, age 84, passed away 19, 2017. Jeannette was born on 28, 1932 in Canton, Ohio. Jeannette was the adoring wife of 55 years to Frank Coach Domokos (deceased) , a loving mother to Denise (Domokos) Mayernik of Willoughby, Julie Domokos of Mentor and Shellee (Kent) Eudy of The Woodlands, TX and beloved grandma to Karissa (Hugh) Devore and Sami (Matthew) Eudy/Bruemmer. She was a doting aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Freda Shain. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Florence (Alex)Verdova, and Marion Shain, and her in-laws Moses and Gizella Domokos. She was a proud graduate of Timken Vocational School in Canton, where she enjoyed playing basketball and being a majorette. She loved the McKinley Bulldogs. She is a licensed cosmetologist and was a certified dental assistant. Jan was an incredibly active volunteer and champion in each community in which she lived. She had a zest for life, unmatched by most. Her smile and silver hair will be ingrained in the minds of many for years to come. She absolutely LOVED being a coachs wife. It showed in everything she did. Jeannette was unwavering in her support and love for her husbands staff and families, athletes, and cheerleaders. During her time in Massillon (GO TIGERS!), she served as treasurer of the American-Albanian Club, was President of the Jaycees, was very active in the Massillon Tiger community, and was known for her popcorn balls. In Chesterland, she was a proud West Geauga Wolverine. This is where the famous Domokos Family spaghetti dinners began, and the painting of ceramic items for each athlete, coach and cheerleader. This tradition continued to Mentor where Jeannette spent years continuing her spirit of volunteerism. She served in the Cardinal Mothers Club for 28 years, the Mentor Touchdown Club for 21 years, and the PTSA for 19 years. She ran hospitality rooms for wrestling tournaments, ran the concessions at BINGO, and popped popcorn at all sports concessions since moving to Mentor in 1969, earning her the nickname The Popcorn Lady. Jan was an integral partner in forming the Mentor High School Sports Hall of Fame, and served on the committee for several years. She spent countless hours over 20 years volunteering for the Red Cross Bloodmobile at various locations in Lake . She has been honored by numerous organizations in the community including the Mentor City Council, The Northeast Ohio Football Officials, The Lake Touchdown Club, and the PTA Circus Hall of Fame. She worked as a hostess at the Perfect Match for 15 years and at Hellreigels for many years after. Jan loved being with people, she served everyone she met with a kind generous heart, and put people at ease in every situation. Jeannette loved her family fiercely. She adored her grandchildren. She kept a clean and inviting home, where guests were always welcome. She will be missed by many, but her legacy of service and love of community will carry on. Her love language was giving. We have all been blessed to have been on the receiving end of that love. GO CARDS! Obituary: Joseph Domjancic, (89), passed away on evening, 22, 2017 at his home. Joseph was born on 16, 1927 in Hartford, CT, a son of the late Rocco and Anna (Desovich) Domjancic. He attended Hartford High School and worked as a Machinist at ITT Grinnell for 37 years before retiring. In his free time he loved being outdoors, working on his tractors and being in the woods. He also enjoyed reading and working on genealogy. Joseph will be deeply missed by his daughters Susan D. Bennett and Patricia J. Hoover; three grandchildren, Jenna Lang, Joey Fitzhugh, and Trisha Dahmen; and four great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his long time friends and companion Erma Brozovich. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Thomas and Frank Domjancic; and his two sisters, Mary Karlovic and Anne Davis. Obituary: DOMIZIO, Rudolph J. Rudolph "Rudy" J. Domizio, 87, passed away on 19, 2015. Rudy was born in New York City on May 14, 1927. He was the first born son of Michael and Mary Domizio. Rudy was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. his marriage to his wife Bessie in 1952, they relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida to raise their family. He was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years until his retirement. Rudy was a talented guitar player and singer and in his later years loved playing tennis. He is predeceased by his wife Bessie, who passed away in 1989. He is survived by his loving companion, Terri; his brother and sister, Eddie and Gloria; three children: Michael, Donna and Laura; six grandchildren: Sarah, Michael, Andrea, Dale, Erin and Joseph; and six great grandchildren: Gavin, Brayden, Kaden, Collin, Emma and Michael. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends who knew and loved him. Visitation will be on , 25 at 10AM-12 NOON, with a service held at 12 NOON, at Quattlebaum , 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jane; son Stephen (Ylva) Novato, CA; daughter Susan Dieterle (David), Columbus, OH; and Brent Dominy (Elaine) Middletown, OH; as well as six grandchildren: Erin Dominy (Andy), Chris Dieterle, Kevin Dieterle, Angela Dominy, Spencer Dominy and Mitsuo Peterson (Leticia). He is predeceased by his mother Dorothy, father Maynard, sister Judy, and stepmother Marcella. Bob was a veteran of the Korean War and received his electronics training at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. leaving the service he joined NCR where he worked on the first large NCR computer, the 304. He later transferred to NCR International and traveled extensively, retiring after 29 years. He then spent 4 years at the University of Dayton Office of Computing Activities, retiring in 1991. Bob enjoyed his over 20 years of Cardiac Rehab at MVH, making friends and keeping fit as possible. He was always a positive person. He enjoyed going to the horse races and playing cards with his friends, the Wilsons, the Behrs and Pat Ballard. Family will greet friends from 10:00am-11:00am on , 20, 2016 at Routsong , 2100 E.
