Obituary: Michael F. Ditmer, Age 52, of Laura, went to be with the Lord on , 22, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born 1, 1963 to Gene & Genevieve (Troutwine) Ditmer in Dayton, Ohio. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Angela (Chambliss) Ditmer of 23 years; daughters Kirstin (Greg) Fetters of Laura, Courteney (Aaron) Potter of West Alexandria, and Hannah Marie Ditmer of Laura; 6 grandchildren; brother Darryl (Judy) Ditmer of Clayton; sisters Theresa Ditmer of Laura and Jeneane (Steve) Quist. Mike was a member of Living Word Church where he was very involved with Acts 29 Missions and going to Haiti to excavate the mountain to build schools for children. He also owned and operated Ditmer Excavating, loved to farm his land and was a family man. services will be held 10:00 AM on , 28, 2015 at Living Word Church, 926 E. National Rd, Vandalia, Ohio 45377, with Pastor Pat Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Potsdam , Potsdam. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on , 27 at the church. are in care of Hale-Sarver Family , West Milton. Obituary: Lowell Ditmer Age 91 West Milton, Ohio. Born in Darke , OH in 1924 to Cleo & Phoebe Wright Ditmer. Graduated from Phillipsburg H.S. in 1942. Served his country in the Army Air Force during WWII, completed flight training as Aviation Cadet, earning his wings as a Fighter Pilot. His love of flying continued into civilian life, as he owned various airplanes while flying from his private landing strip. He retired from NCR engineering after 37 years with the company. His favorite retirement activity was traveling with his wife & constant companion, especially cruising. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy & brother Richard. He is survived by his loving wife Doris, son Gary Ditmer & wife Jackie, son Ronnie (wife Pam deceased), grandson Mike Ditmer & wife Angie, granddaughter Deanna Payne & husband DWayne, & 5 great grandchildren.
