Obituary: Marion Lee Disbennett, of Johnstown, age 95, was born 5, 1919 to the late Martin and Gertrude (Green) Disbennett. He passed away on 8, 2014. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his youth and was a builder of model airplanes and would fly them in his spare time. He retired from Technical Rubber after 44 years with the company, serving as factory manager for many years. Marion is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Patton) Betty whom he married on 23, 1944 and with whom he celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary; daughters, Ann Board and Ruth (Tom) Boder; niece, Betty Bolton who is so much like a daughter; five grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin (Melinda) Board, y, Ryan (Amanda) Boder and Lora; seven great grandchildren, Elijah, Elizabeth, Jacob, Shaylan, Danica, Jessica and Wesley Board and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers and a son-in-law, Frank Board. Friends will be received at CROUSE-KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH, 43031, on from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be on at 10:30 am. in Church of the Ascension with Father J.L. Reichert officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill . |

Obituary: Donna Joan Disbennett, 88, of Olive Green, OH, passed away , 22, 2017, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was born 6, 1929 to the late Grace Wellman in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her mother and husband, Walla Sylvester Disbennett, Jr. Donna will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Donna was a homemaker for many years, retiring from Tech International. Donna is survived by her children, Walla (Barbara) Disbennett III, Jean (Eskham) Hayes and Dan (Becki) Disbennett, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. A special thank you is extended to longtime friends of the family Linda and Eddie Roshon, the Kindred Hospice of Gahanna and Porter-Township Fire Department/Delaware Medic 6.
