Obituary: DEUER, Marie Jeri Wells, age 91 of Waynesville, passed away , 13th, 2014. Jeri was born on 14th, 1923 in West Liberty, Kentucky to the late Matthew and Wilna May Wells. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Carl Deuer; parents; step-father, Dan Williams; and her brother, Thomas Wells. She is survived by her sister, Lois Wick; her niece, Kim Innis; and nephew, Thomas Lee Wells; a great nephew, Zachary (Lisa) Wells; and a great great niece, Sydney Wells. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends, especially the family of Bud and Margie Glaser. Jeri was raised in West Liberty, Kentucky where she attended school, graduating and eventually relocated to Dayton, Ohio. She married her Jim on 8, 1950. Together through the years they worked side by side in their family business of Deuer Manufacturing. 20 years, Jeri retired to be a caregiver for her mother Wilna. She and Jim brought Wilna into their home to love and care for in her later years. She eventually became the caregiver for her husband Jim and loving and patiently cared for him up to his death in 2008. As the years passed, she too needed care in her home. The family is truly grateful for the loving care provided by Dr. Rebecca Glaser, Jane Ramsey, Loni Jackson, and Katie Newman. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on , 19th, 2014 at Tobias \ Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429, with the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Entombment Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
