Obituary: Donald Eugene Davisson, 89, of Kitts Hill passed away , May 7, 2015 at Concord and Rehab in Wheelersburg, Ohio. The Franklin Furnace, Ohio native was born 8, 1926 a son of the late Charles W. and Louise Doty Davisson. Donald was a 1944 graduate of Hanging Rock High School and received his Bachelor Degree in Chemistry from Marshall University. He was a WWII U.S.Army Veteran and received the Bronze Star. He retired in 1989 from Armco after 35 years. Don was a member of Central Christian Church in Ironton and was a member of the South Point Lions Club, Grange, Boy Scouts of America and the VFW. Obituary: Dr. Thomas G. Davison, 63 CANFIELD – Dr. Thomas G. Davison, 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home on , 5, 2015. He was born 10, 1952 in Youngstown, a son of the late Robert O. and Ruth Brown Davison. Tom was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, class of 1970 and earned his Bachelors degree from Youngstown State University. He then attended dental school at The Ohio State University and returned to the Youngstown area to set up his private dental practice in Boardman in 1980 until his retirement this year. He also served as the dental director at Copeland Oaks Crandall Medical in Sebring, Ohio for the last 9 years. Dr. Tom was an active member of the Boardman Rotary, serving as their president from 2000-2001, and serving for many years on the Youth Exchange committee. Tom had many passions, but especially for traveling, snow skiing, scuba diving, stained glass art, the Canfield Fair, and his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Keich Davison, whom he married 18, 1992; four beautiful children: daughter Dr. Laura Davison of Palo Alto, California, and sons Zack, Sam and Alex all at home; his sister, Janet (Gerry) Rich, of Westerville, nephews Patrick Cullenen of Denver, Colorado, and Kevin Cullenen of Columbus, Ohio; many close cousins, former staff members, and many long time patients. Tom also had several very special life-long friends who were more like brothers: Dr. Nick Agnesi, Dr. Jeffery Cohen, Dr. Ted Cubbison, Michael Palagano, Esq. and Bob Moore – all WWHS class of 1970 and Joe Sullivan , Youngstown State University. Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Davison. He will be greatly missed for his kindness and sense of humor by his loving family, friends, Rotarians and patients. The family will receive friends on , 12, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at noon at Lane Family , Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave., Boardman.
