Obituary: Frances K. Dabrowski, age 92 of Miamisburg and formerly of Dayton, passed away , 5, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary (Ochal) Kubilus and brother Vincent. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Alfred J. Dabrowski. She is also survived by her children: sons; Alfred J. and wife Cynthia Dabrowski and Douglas A. Dabrowski, and a daughter, Lois A. Marcus and husband Ronald. She is survived by a sister, Genevieve Guzinski. She has five grandchildren: Joseph and Matthew Dabrowski, Elizabeth Janowiak, Jenni Hendriks and Gregory Marcus, and eight great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Caleb Haynes, Allie Janowiak, Weston and Evie Dabrowski, Charles Dabrowski, Clark and Calvin Hendriks. Fran worked for the Army Air Corp in Washington DC from 1942 until 1945 (Pentagon). Al and Fran met at a USO dance in 1943 in Laurel, Maryland. During the dance they did a Paul Jones \ girls marched in an inner circle \ guys marched in an outer circle. When the music stopped you danced with whoever was opposite you. There were two soldiers in front of Fran, she chose Al. were married 20, 1945 in St. Francis Xavier Church in Washington DC, and honeymooned in Atlantic City. lived in New York City for a little over a year then moved to Dayton, Ohio. Fran retired from the Social Security Administration in 1983. Al and Fran loved to cruise and travel, visiting children and grandchildren from New Hampshire to Alaska. If anyone is in heaven, Fran is! In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on , 11, 2015 at 10 AM with Fr. Ken Pleiman, celebrant. Friends may call at the church from 9 AM until the time of the Mass on . Obituary: Alfred J. Dabrowski, age 92 of Miamisburg and formerly of Dayton, passed away at his home on , 23, 2016. He was the loving and devoted husband of wife Frances (Kubilus) with whom he shared 68 years of marriage, before her death in 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents Ignatius and Genevieve, and siblings Lucien Dabrowski, Viola Parkinson, Ignatius Dabrowski. Leon Dabrowski, Joseph Dabrowski, Stanley Dabrowski, Victoria Trela, Genevieve Chewens and infant brother Matthew Dabrowski. Al is survived by his children: sons, Alfred J. and wife Cynthia Dabrowski and Douglas A. Dabrowski; and a daughter, Lois A. Marcus and husband Ronald. He has five grandchildren: Joseph and Matthew Dabrowski, Elizabeth Janowiak, Jenni Hendriks and Gregory Marcus, and nine great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Caleb Haynes, Allie Janowiak, Weston and Evie Dabrowski, Charles and Henry Dabrowski, Clark and Calvin Hendriks. Al was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was a proud veteran and went into active service in the Army in of 1940, and served in the central Pacific during WWII. 14 months he returned to duty at Fort Meade, Maryland as Administrative NCO. Al and Fran met at a USO dance in 1943 in Laurel, Maryland. were married 20, 1945 in St. Francis Xavier Church in Washington DC, and honeymooned in Atlantic City. lived in New York City for a little over a year then moved to Dayton, Ohio. Al worked for McCalls / Dayton Press Printing and retired in 1982. He was involved at St. Josephs Parish serving as an usher for many years. Al loved a good party and he and Fran would dance the night away. Al and Fran cruised and traveled extensively, visiting children and grandchildren from New Hampshire to Alaska. He took his final cruise to Hawaii in the fall of 2015; it was a real adventure! Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on , 29, 2016 at 10 AM with Fr. Ken Pleiman, celebrant. Friends may call at the church from 9 AM until the time of the Mass on . Interment will be in Dayton National .
