Obituary: Mrs. Sylvia Anderson Denman, 67, of 133 N. Oakwood Dr. Statesville, died 12th at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Born in Wellsville, New York on 5, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Howard Anderson and Pearl Rose Anderson. Mrs. Denman was an R.N. with the Iredell Department. She is survived by three daughters, Robin Denman of Statesville, Kristine Heyneman of Williamson, N.Y. and Kathelene Harmon of Byron, N.Y. Also surviving are two step daughters, Linda Lattuca of Carlisle, Pa., and Shelia Peterson of Brockport, N.Y. along with an aunt, Lillian Anderson of Wellsboro, Pa. Services celebrating Mrs. Denmans life will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson with Rev. Ed Yarbrough officiating. Private burial will follow later in the New Sterling A.R.P. Church . The family will receive friends immediately following the service on at the funeral home. Obituary: ROBIN COLLINS DENMAN STATESVILLE- Robin C. Denman, 46, passed unexpectedly on 26, 2016. Born 19, 1970 in Rochester, New York, she was the daughter to the late Joseph and Sylvia Denman. She was raised in Scottsville, NY. Robin was a very loving and caring mother who was fiercely protective of her kids. She played softball, volleyball and enjoyed horseback riding. She loved going and spending time at the beach. Robin served in the US Army for four years active and two years in the reserves in New York. She was a diesel mechanic in the US Army. Robin leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Joseph, Josh and Olivia Parker; four sisters, Kris (John) Heyneman, Kathy (Todd) Harmon, Linda Lattuca and Sheila (Buddy) Peterson; nieces and nephews, Kate Lattuca, Shelby and Kelsey Harmon, and Alan Heyneman; father of her kids, Jeff (Joy) Parker and many loving family members and friends. A Celebration of Robins life will be held 31, 2016 at 2pm at Bunch-Johnson . The family will receive friends after the service. A New York service will be held at a later date. Obituary: Robert Starr Denlinger, age 71, died unexpectedly of a heart attack, on a beautiful day surrounded by his lifelong friends on , May 27, 2015. He was born on 5, 1944 in Richmond, Virginia where he lived in an orphanage until being adopted at age 6 by his parents, Norman and Blanche Denlinger. The family moved to Raleigh in 1956, where Bob attended Daniels Middle School and graduated from Broughton High School in 1962. He was a member of the undefeated State Championship football team. He maintained and cherished those relationships throughout his life. Upon graduating, Bob spent one year at UNC Chapel Hill before he transferred to Campbell University where he graduated in 1968 and met Ann, his wife of 48 years. Upon graduation, Bob served two years in the United States Navy serving as Ship Secretary. Bob worked in banking throughout his career and helped establish several successful community banks in North Carolina. The operations center in North State Bank carries his name, as tribute. He was a tireless worker who took great pride in everything he did. That same devotion carried through to his family and friends, who constantly benefited from his selflessness. Bob enjoyed supporting the UNC Tar Heels, golfing, baking, and playing the piano. Anyone who knew him, knew that he would put a smile on their face; he will be dearly missed. Bob is survived by his wife Ann, son Chris, daughter- in-law Dawn, and granddaughter Willa Claire, in whom he took immense pride. He is preceded in death by his parents, Blanche and Norman Denlinger. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation in his memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. A memorial service followed by a reception will be held at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, 2209 Fairview Road, Raleigh, NC at 11:00 AM on , 1. |
