Obituary: Claude Allen Davis, 80, passed away in his home on 3, 2015 in Raleigh, NC. Claude was born May 24, 1934 in Raleigh, NC to his parents, Lillian and Claude Davis. He graduated from the original old Cary High School in 1952. Claude went on to work as a refrigeration supervisor and while on a business trip, he met and later married Virginia Fournier in 1956 in Lewiston, Maine. The Davis' resided in Raleigh, NC where Claude continued working as a refrigeration supervisor, and later as an automotive mechanic. Mr. Davis loved taking trips to Maine, and he loved going to the beach. He also had a love for tinkering on cars, and his prize possessions were his two, completely restored Corvairs. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Virginia Davis of Raleigh, NC; his son, Claude Allen Davis, Jr. of Pleasant Garden, NC; his daughter, Donna Everhart and son-in-law, Blaine Everhart of Dunn, NC; grandchildren, Justin and Brooke Kearney, and Kyle Davis; and great grandchildren, Payton and Abigail Godwin. He is preceded in death by his parents; Lillian and Claude Davis; and his younger sister, Linda Davis. services are private and burial will be held at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
