Obituary: NEW IBERIA \ Services will be conducted for Mr. Edias Joseph Dore, Jr., age 76, at 9:30 am on , 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be held at Memorial Park with military honors by LA Army National Guard Military Honors Team. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on day until service time. A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Dore passed away at 12:45 pm on , 8, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical . Mr. Dore was affectionately known as Eddie and/or Ted too many and can also be remembered for his painting expertise, as the owner of Dores Painting for 40 years. He served his country honorably in the US Army. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #3425 of New Iberia for many years and recently #7557 in Broussard. He loved spending time with his family; and especially loved taking his grandkids fishing, going to the casino with his wife and playing Bouree. He also loved his dog Canon.
