Gayle was an avid hunter, fisherman and farmer. Gayles crowning achievement and that which he was most proud of was the family he had grown. He enjoyed sharing his time with and teaching his many children and grandchildren as well as going dancing with his wife, the love of his life. He was a member of the Local 198 for 55 plus years. Obituary: Ralph Joseph Daigle, 91, a native of Lafayette, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA was born on 1, 1925 and passed away on , 16, 2017. Ralph was an Air Force Veteran, who was stationed in Guam during WWII. He began working for Halliburton driving trucks for a short time before moving to Baton Rouge, where he began a career with McCormick and Spices and retired after 29 years. Ralph had a love for LSU sports and worked for LSU Event Staff, as a game marshal, for many different sporting events. He had a love for life especially for cooking, dancing, music, boxing, and his weekly card games with the guys. Ralph was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who loved his family dearly. He is survived by his children, Keith Daigle (Cathy), Cathy Talley (Mike), Lisa Mitchell (Charles), and Tim Daigle (Laura); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter on the way.
