Obituary: Linda Haynes Crisp, age 67, of Ormond Beach, best friend and beloved wife of 46 years to Ron died peacefully at home on , 3, 2015. She was born on 20, 1947, in Sebring, FL to Bill and Marjorie Young Haynes. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Margie and is survived by her loving family, husband Ron, daughter Angie Stocker (Eric) of Cincinnati, OH, brother Ken Haynes (Joyce) of Sebring, FL, two grandchildren Bree Stocker and Cameron Stocker of Cincinnati, OH and many nieces and nephews. Linda began her career with Consolidated Tomoka Land Co in 1976 as a Receptionist. She moved to Ormond Beach in 1985 with Consolidated and retired 2014 as Vice President and Corporate Secretary after 38 years. Linda was an icon to the Daytona Beach community and positively touched many lives dedicating herself to community service. She served several leadership positions with Junior Women's League in Sebring, FL, Quota Club and the United Way both of Daytona Beach. For the past 13 years, she has been an active member of the Daytona Beach West Rotary Club, holding multiple leadership positions including past President. Her passion was helping others through mentoring, fundraising, laying mulch, painting community buildings, etc. No job was too big or too small! Services will be held on , 10, 2015 at Volusia Memorial, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm with services beginning at 3pm. Obituary: Delmar E. Crisp, 20, 1919 - 13, 2017, of Stuart, FL Delmar (Del) Crisp went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on , 13, 2017, after a long life of love and service. He was 97 years young and had been in failing health the past 2-3 years with complications from Dementia. He was born on Easter , 20, 1919, to Clifford H. and Elmina (Rainey) Crisp in Hillsdale, Michigan. The family moved to Fayette, OH where he graduated high school in 1938. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Education teaching in 1943. He earned a Master of Arts degree from University of Michigan. He taught in Tecumseh, Bloomfield Hills, Oak Park, and Ecorse Public Schools in Michigan. He started Co-op programs placing students in work experience programs wherever he taught. Many students thanked him for starting them on their career pathway. He married the love of his life Betty J. (Osborne) Crisp on 19, 1944. were a beautiful example of Christian marriage. Del and Betty owned Stautzenberger Business School in Toledo, Ohio from 1956 - 1958. Del was active in Delta Pi Epsilon, professional business education fraternity, serving as president 1967-1968. He was a devout Christian and raised his children to be Christians. Del and Betty were active members of St. James Methodist Church, Detroit, MI, where he served as adult education director and president of Methodist Men. He was a Mason. He was active member of First United Methodist Church, Stuart, Florida for 38 years. He served as president of the XYZ club for three years which grew to over 100 members. Del was a devoted father to his children. He was active in his childrens school activities serving in the Crary Elementary Summer Activities program. The family took many camping trips to the western USA in the summers. Del and Betty retired in 1978 and moved to Hidden Harbour Estates in Stuart, Florida. Del served on the Hidden Harbour board of directors and participated in many activities of the condominium association. Del served as treasurer of Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel (MARSP) Treasurer Coast Chapter for over 15 years and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from MARSP in Lansing, MI in 2000. Service to others included delivering Meals on Wheels for many years and reaching out to many people in their community. went on nine cruises, enjoyed camping, traveling, playing cards, making friends, and especially their family. Beginning in 1997 through 2006 they spent summers at Gun Lake near Hastings, MI. He is predeceased by his parents, his brother, Wayne R. Crisp, and daughter Mary Elizabeth who died at birth. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Crisp, of 72 years; daughter Marjorie (Ball) (Eugene Jr.) Haas of Hastings MI; son Robert Wayne (Connie) Crisp of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Andrea (Ball) Schiappacasse, Southgate, MI; Shannon (Ball) (Don) Perez Shelby Township, MI; Michael Ball, Berkley, MI; Heather (Haas) West, Parchment, MI; Rachael Haas, Kalamazoo, MI; Eugene L. (Julie) Haas III, Charlotte, NC; Robert Brian (Brandy) Crisp of Las Vegas, NV; and Lara Crisp, Loveland, CO; great-grandchildren Ashley (Anthony) Olivares, Jordan West, Allison West, John Paul Haas, Thomas Perez, Joseph Perez, Thomas Schiappacasse, and one great-great grandson, Lincoln Fitzgerald Olivares; Cousins: Marilyn (Jack) Klang of Suttons Bay, MI, Marcia (Richard) (Mills) Hansen, San Diego, CA, Norman Mills, Chico, CA, and MerriSue (Steven) Spencer-DeWilde, Grand Haven, MI. Visitation will be , 19, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1500 S. Kanner Hwy., Stuart, FL, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. A social gathering will follow at Hidden Harbour Clubhouse. Cremation will take place after the service with ashes interred at Oaklawn , Hillsdale, Michigan at a later date.
