Obituary: Vivian (Vicki) Hilgeman Coggins of West Melbourne, was called to heaven on , 23, 2015. She was born 23, 1943 in Fairborn, OH, the daughter of the late Erwin and Rachel Hilgeman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve and brother, Leon. She worked at the St. Johns River Water Management District as an Administrative Assistant for 31 years. She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Sigma Alpha Sorority where she served on the National Board for 10 years. She is survived by her sister, Ernestine Hensley; brother, Ernest (Candy); nephews, Daniel (Bridget) Coggins, Corby (Laura) Coggins, Kasey Coggins, Leon Hilgeman, and Jarrod (Iris) Hilgeman; nieces, Kimberly (Brian) Decker, Lisa (Rob) Apana and Stacey (Neal) Jellison; great-nieces and nephews, Rhett, Max, Cory, Corbin, Brooke, Kassidy, Hannah, Emily and Andi; sister-in-law, Joyce Hilgeman; and brothers-in-law, Ron (Cherry) Coggins and Fred (Liz) Coggins. Her Celebration of Life will be held on , 29, 2015 at 11:00am at Wesley United Methodist Church in West Melbourne, with a visitation the hour prior. Obituary: Myrtle Coggins, 100, of Tallahassee, was born to James Albert (Jim) Collins and Sara Elizabeth (Bessie) Nowell. She was born in Wayne , Mississippi on May 20, 1915. She was predeceased in death by her husband Johnie Coggins of 61 years. Myrtle is survived by one son, Jim Coggins (Carolyn) of Tallahassee and one daughter, Gail Smyly (Dr. Dan Smyly) of Peachtree City, GA. Four grandsons, John Coggins of Tallahassee, FL, Blake Smyly (Fiancée Stacy Loera) Atlanta, GA. Brett Smyly, of Peachtree City, GA and Beau Smyly (Charise) of Tallahassee, FL; one step granddaughter, Allison Hartsfield (Dr. Paul Hartsfield); one step grandson, Landon Smith; one great grandson, Gabriel Emanuel Smyly; one great step grandson, Colson Hartsfield and one step great granddaughter, Adley Hartsfield, all of Tallahassee, FL and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by one brother, Lincoln Boyles (Glynn) of Mississippi. Myrtle was retired from the Supervisor of Elections Office, she was past President of the Tallahassee Police Wives Auxiliary, and she loved cooking, sewing and gardening. Myrtle was an active member of East Hill Baptist Church until ill health interceded. She spent her last nine years at Woodmont Senior Assisted Living facility of which she loved all of the personnel and residents. Services will be held on 5, 2016 at 2:30pm at Culleys MeadowWood , 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, FL. Visitation/Reception will be held at 1:00 until service time. There will be a private entombment where she will be place in the mausoleum beside her husband immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to East Hill Baptist Church, 712 Miccosukee Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32301 or MARZUQ Temple, 1805 N. Monroe St. Tallahassee, FL 32303 in memory of her loving husband Johnie Coggins. |

Obituary: Jason Wyatt Coggins 1974 - 2011 Jason Wyatt Coggins, 37, died suddenly on 10, 2011 from a respiratory infection. Family and friends will gather for a private memorial to celebrate his life. Jason was a fighter; he struggled his whole life with diabetes, but he didn let it get him down. Jason and his family had just spent a week at the beach together two weeks prior and so thankful to have had that time together. His death has come far too soon; life without him is simply unimaginable. In time, there will be more laughing than tears, as we remember our times with Jason, especially that silly grin of his.
