Obituary: DeLorese Gladys Clare, a beautiful lady who found a friend in everyone she met, passed along to another life on 21, 2017, after a brief illness. She was 86, and the last of six siblings. DeLorese was proud to be a fourth-generation native of Jacksonville. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ivan, and three children, Sharon Schoff (William), Wayne Westberry (Lisa), and Greg Westberry (Lorraine), nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. DeLorese found a career in real estate sales during a brief residency in Central Florida. She made her first sale after one week with Sun Empire Realty in Kissimmee, and had approximately $850,000 in sales during 1981. A graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a real estate course at Rollins in 1978, she returned to Jacksonville for a job with Watson Realty Corporation. In both cities she helped build two homes for herself, working with subcontractors on a daily basis. One of her favorite jobs involved a talent for decorating model homes for SEDA Construction for several years. A memorial service will be held at 11am, 28, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel & , 4801 San Jose Blvd., followed by a reception at the funeral home. |

Obituary: Clifford (Cliff) C. Clare was born on 28, 1933 in Long Island, NY to his parents Frank and Yvonne (Vianney) Clare. He passed away on 22, 2014 in Cape Coral, FL. Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Margaret; children Clifford C. (Kathleen) Clare Jr., John F. (Patricia) Clare, Eileen M. (Steven) Woodburn, Thomas A. (Carol) Clare, Paul C. (Vicki) Clare, and James E. (Marcie) Clare; grandchildren John Jr., Megan, Andrew, Christopher, Emily, Patrick, Kelly, Tommy, Travis, Alison, Paul Jr., Sarah, Kristen, and Charlie; brothers Robert (Helen) Clare, Ken (Ginny) Clare, and Peter (Barbara) Clare; numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly. Cliff spent most of his life on Long Island where he was born. He spent time in the U.S. Navy with the Seabees(Construction Battalion) in the early 50s and then in 1960 began selling Superior School Buses and then Thomas Built buses for a career that lasted 43 years. He and his wife Margaret then retired to Cape Coral, Fl. His passion for the beach and boating was made evident throughout his entire life. By far his biggest passion was the family, and most notable the grandchildren, where he reveled in their accomplishments throughout the last 27 years. He was always a very happy gentlemen, who always had a warm smile and a joke for anybody who stopped by. The family will receive friends for visitation on , 25, 2014 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on , 26, 2014 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cape Coral, FL.
