Obituary: Camelia Parrish Clapp, age 78 of Choctaw Beach, passed away on , 6, 2016 at home surrounded by family after a long illness. She was born 28, 1937 in Pensacola, Florida to Joseph and Frances Parrish. Camelia was an Auburn graduate with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. She also held a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of West Florida. She was one of the first women to work in the field of engineering and retired from Monsanto after 23 years of service. Camelia was much loved by her many friends at church, her womens club and painting circle. She enjoyed the beach, travel and painting. She dearly loved her many pets. She is survived by son Douglas and Dena Clapp of Rockmart, GA, son Daniel and Dianna Clapp of Baker, FL and daughter Donna and Thomas Hill of Tallahassee, FL, six grandchildren, Scott and Samantha Clapp, Hannah and Stephen Clapp, Arwyn and Benjamin Hill, brother Robert and Deanne Parrish of Grand Junction, Colorado, nieces Tracey and Alan McKinley of Graham, WA and Tricia Parrish of Palatka, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Parrish and brother Joseph Parrish. Visitation will be held at McLaughlin Twin Cities at 1405 John Sims Parkway in Niceville on , 11th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorial services will be held at Choctaw Beach United Methodist Church at 479 Live Oak Street, Freeport on , 12th, at 10:00am. Burial will be at Bayview Chapel and Memorial Park at 3351 Scenic Highway in Pensacola on , 12th at 3:00pm. |

Obituary: Louise Lowery Clanton, passed away quietly at home on , 12, 2011. She was born on 19, 1920 in Plains, GA. She was a mother, homemaker, and office assistant in her husbands business. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dr. G. Harvey Clanton, a veterinarian who practiced in Clearwater for 35 years. She was a Christian and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater. She has a daughter, Jane Clanton Douthwaite (Richard) of Charlotte, NC and a son, Rev. G. Harvey Clanton, Jr (Nancy) of Tallahassee, FL.
