Obituary: Ramsay Chinsee 6th, 1933 – 17th, 2017 Ramsay was born on 6th, 1933 to Mother Ida Chinsee (Miss Ida) and Father Percival Chinsee of Falmouth, Jamaica. He was the sixth of eight children born to Miss Ida. Ramsay is survived by his loving son Wellington; wife Josephine; brothers Owen and George, and sisters Gwen and Iris. He was sent to China as a young boy. While in China, he attended and graduated from the Tangshan Railway . During the Chinese Cultural Revolution he experienced extreme prejudice and hardship because he was educated and he was born overseas. He returned to Jamaica along with his wife, Josephine (Seow Yong) and son, Wellington in 1981 to help Miss Ida in running the Chin See Bros. family business. Ramsay and his family immigrated to Miami, Florida in 1986 and finally settled in West Palm Beach where Ramsay ran a restaurant business for a number of years along with two of his brothers. Between the long work days of running his own business, Ramsay always found time for his family; taking his son to the movies, family vacations, and sitting down at the dinner table to talk. Through the years, he continued to work in the restaurant and service industry until he retired because of Parkinson’s Disease. Ramsay has always had a strong mental fortitude and found different ways to combat his disease. One of which was through the Palm Beach Chinese Christian chapel. Religion allowed him to find peace and through that a better outlook on life. Even until the very end, Ramsay stayed strong and continued to fight his misfortunes, never showing any signs of weakness. Even as his health declined, he never stopped being a devoted father, often chiding Wellington for not eating properly, and would prepare food for his son even as Parkinson's Disease slowly took away his ability to perform the simplest task. Ramsay will forever be remembered as a loving father, husband and brother.
