Obituary: Warren Cecil passed away , 28, Moorings Park, Naples, FL. He was 93. Warren was born on 16, 1921 to Frank and Ona (Gardner) Cecil in Uhrichsville, OH. He was a 1943 graduate of Ohio University and served honorably in the United States Navy during World War II as Lieutenant on the USS Arenac. He spent a long and successful career with the accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co. Warren was a long time resident of Hinsdale, IL where he and his wife, Jean Bulow Cecil raised their three daughters. He was an active member of Hinsdale Golf Club, Hinsdale United Methodist Church and other community organizations. the death of his first wife, Warren married Marilyn Finch Cecil and resided in River Forest, IL where they were members of Oak Park Country Club and River Forest Presbyterian Church. Upon retiring to Naples they continued to enjoy golf at Royal Poinciana Golf Club and many friendships. were members of Moorings Presbyterian Church. Warren was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Marilyn; and Jean, his first wife and his brothers, Harold and Glenn Cecil. He is survived by his sister, Opal Hurd; by his children, Karen Parrin (David), Diane Cousins (Thomas), Marti Lidstone (Richard); by his loving grandchildren, Leigh and Thomas Cousins, Anne, Haley and David Parrin, Richard and Jacob Lidstone; by many nieces and nephews; by his wonderful stepchildren Paul Bohmbach (Maureen), David Bohmbach (Joanna), Susan Paul (William), James Bohmbach (Deborah) and their children, Kristen, Craig, Micah, Merrill, Laine, William, Brett, Zachary, Trevor, Stanton, Jordan and Rachel. Warren delighted in all his family and friends from the time he was a boy on his grandparents farm until his death under the care of the loving, dedicated caregivers and staff at Moorings Park. A memorial service will be held on , 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Bower Chapel, Moorings Park, 120 Moorings Park Drive, Naples. Burial will be in Bronswood , Oak Brook, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Warrens memory to the Moorings Park Employee Christmas Fund, 120 Moorings Park Drive, Naples, FL 34105. |
