Obituary: Joyce K. Caddell, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on , 10th. She is survived by her loving husband, John, with whom she celebrated 65 years of what the couple often characterized as a great and enduring love story. Joyce and John traveled the globe for both business and pleasure and were always seeking new destinations and places to explore. were true life partners including founding a construction company which they operated for the first three years from their home. This business quickly grew into a major international organization with projects worldwide. Joyce and John have also shared a passion for giving back to the local community. Their charitable activities have touched thousands and the John & Joyce Caddell Foundation will continue to give generously to a wide array of local community outreach, educational, and cultural organizations. Joyce is survived by her five children, Cathy of Montgomery (Charlie); Mike of Carmel, California (Cynthia); Kirby of Alex City, Alabama (Robin); Jeff of John's Creek, Georgia (Ellen); and Chris of Pearland, Texas (Patti). Grandchildren are Mac, Chad, Christine, Chapman, Clea, Matthew, and Andrew; and great grandchildren Madi, Cole, Jacob, Cooper, and Beau. Visitation will be take place on , 15, at 1:00 pm at Alabama Heritage . The Celebration of Life Service will be held afterward in the Alabama Heritage Chapel beginning at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jerry Gunnells of Mobile officiating. The pallbearers will be grandsons Mac, Chad, Chapman, and Andrew, as well as nephew, Robbie Chastain, and special family friends Eddie Stewart and Bobby Garrison. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. David Thrasher who took such extraordinary care of Joyce and was always there when needed. Grateful hearts are also extended to Janese with Alacare Hospice and the Answered Prayer staff, and especially to those angels Octavia, Connie, and Justine that took such loving care of Joyce in her last year. Obituary: Judith Clarice Cabaniss, 71, of Jackson, passed away , 1, 2015 at Mobile Infirmary Medical with her husband and children by her side. She was born in Jackson, AL May 3, 1944 where she was a graduate of Jackson High School. She received her degree in nursing from Mobile Infirmary School of and most recently had worked as a registered nurse at Thomasville and Rehab from 2005 to 2015. She had just received a 50 years of nursing licensure certificate from the Alabama Board of in recognition of her dedication to the nursing profession. She loved her profession, dogs, and all of her grandchildren to whom she was lovingly known as Ga Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney Robinson and Clarice Jones Robinson. She is survived by her husband, Charles M.
