Obituary: Carol Eileen Coy was born Dec. 22, 1929, in Pueblo, to Arthur and Ethel (Monack) Payne. She passed away at Life Pueblo on May 19, 2015. Eileen was a lifelong resident of Pueblo. Eileen grew up in Pueblo county helping in the family business, Golden Liquid Dairy. She graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1948. Eileen was the Colorado State Fair Hostess in 1948. She married Melburn Mud Coy on Aug. 27, 1949. Eileen worked many parttime jobs in her life: Security Credit, Jack Armstrong Jeweler, Mountain Bell long distance operator, waitress, School Dist. 70 food service, Gaglianos Italian Market and Gus Fruit Market. Eileen enjoyed horseback riding and was a member of the Pueblo Saddle Club. She also enjoyed bowling, waterskiing, crocheting and cooking. Eileen was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ. Eileen is survived by her husband of 65 years, Mel Coy; two sons, Gary (Brenda) and Dan (Terry) Coy; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, Aaron (Mandy) Coy, Bryce, Benjamin, Levi, Oliver; Jeremy (Holly) Coy, Ivy, Owen; Jason (Leslie) Coy, Lily, Max, DJ, Iris; Heather (Jason) Hultgrien; a brother, Ronald (Rose) Payne; several nieces and nephews. service, 11 a.m. , May 25, 2015, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel.
