Obituary: Katherine Leona Chong, age 43, passed away at her home in Monroe, WA in her sleep on 2, 2014. She was born 24, 1970 in Monroe, WA to Robert and Juanita Decker. She grew up in Woodinville, WA and attended class at Woodinville High School class of 1990. Kathie married Randy Chong on 16, 1992 in Redmond, WA. Kathie and Randy had one son, Andrew, on 22, 1990. Throughout her life, Kathie had several occupations, but spent 15 years at Fred Meyer and retired in 2007 due to medical complications from Huntingtons Disease. Kathie and Randy were avid Everett Silvertips Fans and season ticket holders for many years. As a family, the Chongs loved travelling and camping trips. Kathie was preceded in death by her brother James Decker who passed from Huntingtons Disease. She is survived by: her Mother and Father, her husband Randy, son Andrew, five brothers, five sisters, and her beloved 39 nieces and nephews. Kathie volunteered for the Snohomish ARC. retirement, Kathie fought in every way she could for a cure for Huntingtons Disease, including medical research, volunteering, and many donations. The Chong Family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Snohomish ARC and Northwest Chapter of the Huntingtons Disease Society of America. A Celebration of Kathies life will take place 15, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Monroe, WA. |

Obituary: Allen Chon passed away on 24, 2015 at the age of 53. He is survived by his wife Susie, his son Michael and his elder sisters Kay and Celeste. Allen was born on 7, 1961 in Seoul, South Korea to Jae Hak and Jong Ok Chon. At the age of 7, Allen immigrated to Honolulu, Hawaii with his family, where he lived until after he graduated high school. Upon his graduation from St. Louis High School, Allen eventually moved to and settled in Bellevue and attended the University of Washington where he met his wife Susie. marriage, Allen pursued a career in technology, where he found success in various companies such as NEC, Sony, Nokia and HP. In the meantime, his wife gave birth to their only son Michael. Allen was an avid fan of the water as well as a shameless techie and car enthusiast. He also had a profound passion for people and his generosity and genuine care for his friends and family served as an inspiration for everybody around him. Allen was legitimately a force of nature and was fiercely driven in all that he did. His career, his relationships and any at all of his tasks were met with incredible tenacity. A man of admirable resolve and powerful dedication, Allen will be missed by the many lives he touched throughout his short time on Earth. Irene graduated from High School and Cosmetology School. She married Petro (Pete) Chomenko on 14, 1962 in Worth, Illinois. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, traveling, baking, playing word games, and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Ara Corbin, her husband, Pete Chomenko and her brother r Corbin. Irene is survived by her daughter, Tamara Chomenko-DeCouteau, Granddaughter, Alexandra Myles and Grandson, James Myles. Irene was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Pete for almost 30 years, a supportive, giving, and caring mother to her daughter Tamara, and a doting grandmother to her granddaughter Alex and grandson James. She was so proud of their accomplishments. Irene was never too busy to lend an ear or a shoulder to lean or cry on. Her shoulders were broad and strong. Her natural gift was the desire to help and care for others. Irene took great pleasure in doing things, big or small, for a neighbor, a friend, but most of all, for her family. Giving brought her great joy. Irene will be missed so much here on Earth. But we take comfort knowing the peace and joy she now experiences in Heaven. |
