Obituary: CLOER, David Leon, of Midlothian, died May 6, 2011. Survivors include his wife, Margaret B. Cloer; two children, Sandra Wingen and her husband, Rick, and David S. Cloer; two grandchildren, Claire and Tyler Wingen; and three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Cloer, Mrs. Clydene Clontz and Mrs. Jean Warren. Mr. Cloer worked as a technical specialist with F.E.M.A. for 14 years after his retirement from Henrico Planning Division. He taught school at Huguenot Road Baptist Church for many years. His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody , 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. . services will be held 11 a.m. at Huguenot Road Baptist Church. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Meals on Wheels Richmond or to Charlies Angels, c/o SunTrust Bank, 103 E. Obituary: Margie C. Cloaninger, age 91, passed away on 5, 2014. She was a native of Alexander City, Alabama, a graduate of Huntington , and has been a resident of Patriots Colony, Williamsburg, VA for 17 years. Margie was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 years, Col. Francis (Frank) A. Cloaninger (USAF) in 2005. She is survived by daughters, Judy Petersen (Carolina Shores, NC) and Pamela Newman and husband Dennis (Winston Salem, NC); her grandchildren, Emily Bowers and husband Marc (Orlando, FL), Sally Young and husband Matt (Whiteville, NC), Jennifer Newman (Durham, NC) and Caroline Newman (Princeton, NJ); her great grandchildren, Conner, Olivia, and Abby Young; and two sisters, Ruth Barbee (Sevierville, TN) and Gayle Humphrey and husband Huey (Alexander City, AL). Margie loved being a member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church, the American Association of University Women, Arlington Texas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (25 years) and the Arlington Ladies (USAF) at Arlington National . She was a history teacher, homemaker, incredible mother and grandmother who enjoyed all church activities, reading, bridge, golf and traveling the world. Her favorite activity was always the annual family beach trip! Her kind and generous heart will be missed by all. The family would like to thank Reverend Janna Roche, Mary Watkins, the Staff at Patriots Colony and Riverside Hospice for the excellent care and love they shared with Margie. and burial services will be held at Arlington National .
