Obituary: David K. Carr passed at home with hospice nurse, wife, and sisters by his side on 2, 2014 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He had just had a visit hours before from his sons Michael and Brian and their wives Tara (with Abby) and Katie. Dave was born on 28, 1950 and raised in Erie, Pa. He graduated from Penn State with an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. He was a managing partner with Coopers and Lybrand (later PWC and IBM). Dave is survived by his loving wife Barbara Davies Carr and the beloved dad of Michael and wife Tara of Fairfax, Virginia and Brian and wife Katie of Cary, NC. He was the proud grandfather of Emma, Jack and Abby and was looking forward to the birth of Asher. Please join his family for visitation on , 5th, 6-8 pm. The Memorial Service will be on , 6th at 4 pm at Community of Faith United Methodist Church, 13224 Franklin Farms Road, Herndon, VA. A Celebration of Life will at the International Country Club, 13200 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway, following the Memorial Service. Obituary: Charles Edward Carr Sr., (Jack), 86, 0f Sandston passed away , 21, 2015. Jack served in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War, and was a member of Mason Lodge 292 and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elizabeth S. Carr; children, Carolyn Johnson (Corky), Charles Jr. (Donna), Douglas Carr (Vicki), Thomas Carr (Kim); nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Garland Carr, and Claude Carr. The family will receive friends , 26 at 10am at Nelsen Laburnum with service following at 11am. Interment will take place immediately after the service at Washington Memorial Park.
