Obituary: Robert Leon Clark (Bob), our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away at home in his sleep on 26, 2015 at the age of 67. Bob was born on 18, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas Jay Clark and Dorothy McAllister Clark. In 1971, he married the love of his life and best friend, Julie Beal Clark. His family was first and foremost; his pride and joy. He absolutely adored his little grandson, Robert. Bob was kind and generous. Everyone that ever met him loved him. He had the best sense of humor and could make anyone smile. He will be missed more than words can say, and everyone he ever met is better off for knowing him. Bob was a member of the Utah Air National Guard. He attended the University of Utah and Westminster . He worked as an Air Traffic Controller and later as President and CEO of Clark's Minerals. Bob is survived by his wife Julie, son Matthew, daughters Christina and Anne, grandson Robert, sons-in-law Mike and Michael Todd and his brothers. Viewing: Wed. 1, 2015, 6-8 pm Services: Thurs. 2, 2015 2:00 pm. All services at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (3401 S. Obituary: Ray Hardy Clark 14 1925 – 30 2012 As he celebrates his long-anticipated reunion with loved ones and continues his eternal journey, Ray stands with us, our ever-steady anchor. Ray was born in Orem at his grandparents home. His 19-year-old parents were childhood sweethearts who married at 18. Described by his mother as a well-behaved baby, Rays good nature characterized his life and blessed the lives of all who knew him. He loved the Savior and was filled with the Saviors love for others. His earliest years were in Provo, but he called Springville home for more than 60 years until moving to Orem in 1991. Ray thrived athletically, lettering in many sports and competing at regional levels. He served on school councils and as class president. He joined the war effort, enlisting in the Army Air Corps in 1943 after graduation, and was trained as a flight navigator. Ray was released from active duty in 1946 and married Beverly Bird in 1946. He survived the plane crash that took her from him in 1975, and then, with divine guidance, he met and married Dorothy (Dot) Davis in 1976. A man of perpetual motion and detailed notation, Ray stayed busy with project after project and activity after activity, scheduling his life around his grandchildrens activities and BYU sports. Constant and steady, he pursued all aspects of life, receiving his doctorate in education (BYU) at 46, filling years of service in countless church callings that included missions and bishoprics, and dedicating nearly 40 years to public education. Ray loved to travel, but rather than talk of the sites he visited, he would likely tell of the wonderful people he met, which might include fellow travelers, locals, servers, or anyone he chanced to meet. He conveyed genuine interest and love to everyone, reflecting the light of Christ as he gave them his full attention, energy, and enthusiasm for life. His greatest pride is a posterity exceeding 100, and he loved nothing more than to have someone ask how many children he had and then study their face as he revealed his answer: 13. Ray earned every one of his wrinkles, yet he made each child feel they were his favorite. He has 46 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren and more on the way. Ray is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Dot) Davis Clark; and children, Phil Clark, Harold Clark (Bonnie Bateman), Alan Clark, Kaye Clark Isakson (Bill), Gayle Clark Hinchcliff (Grant), Shari Clark Skabelund (Grant), Evan Clark (Corine Phillips), Brent Clark (Sherie Wunderlich), Tom Clark (Kathryn Holm), Shannon Clark Bryant (Mark), Darin Clark (Margaret Davis), Scott Clark (Loretta Jocobus), and Greg Clark (Michelle Hyde).
