Obituary: Melvin C. Clark Melvin C. Clark, 79, died 4, 2008, in Orem, Utah. Born May 19, 1928, in Teton Ctiy, Idaho, to Lucius and Adelia Carling Clark. Married Juanita Stone in the Salt Lake Temple, 10, 1950. Graduated from BYU and received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in 1956. Employed 32 years with the Utah State Office of Education, most of the time as Regional Director of the Division of Rehabilitation Services. As a member of the LDS church he served many years as Bishop, Bishops Counselor, BYU Branch President, High Councilor, and as Stake Patriarch. Served two Spanish speaking LDS missions, the last one with his wife, Juanita to the Spain Madrid Mission. He was involved in many hospital, mental health and United Way boards and community activities. His greatest joy was being with his family members and in service in his Church callings. Many have been blessed through his patient, loving counsel, both in his profession, Church service and with family. He is survived by his wife, Juanita, children: Doug (Kay), Orem; Kathy (Dennis) Cullimore, Orem; Dave (Ruth), Corona, CA: and Karen (Bryan) Watkins, Mesa, AZ., 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Hill, Provo, UT. services will be held , 8, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Suncrest 6th Ward Chapel, 891 West 130 North, Orem. Family and friends may visit evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem and morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held in the Provo City . |

Obituary: Louise passed away May 29, 2015 of causes incident to old age. She was born in Salt Lake City on 26, 1918, the first of three children born to Ira Free Kimball and Luella Lloyd. She graduated from Granite High School and in 1941 married George Glen Hobson. had two children. Following Glens death, Louise married Bill Maurice Clark, a widower with four small children. Louise and Bill had three, completing a blended family of nine children. Her family was the joy of her life. A temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple for more than twenty years, Louise also served a mission in the Washington D.C. temple, and in her local LDS wards as Relief Society president, Cub Scout leader, and Primary teacher. A great-granddaughter of Heber C. Kimball, Louise also enjoyed participating in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Preceeded in death by brothers Wayne and Lloyd, husbands Glen (1952) and Bill (1994); sons Kim (1973) and Richard (Kathy, div., Janet) Clark (2003); and stepdaughter DeAnna Clark (Terry) Powers (1997). She is survived by children Susan Hobson (Scott) Kenney, Kris Clark (Mike) Rice, and Joe (Denny) Clark; stepchildren Jim (Annette) Clark, Bob (Jan) Clark, MaryLou (John) Gardner; twenty-eight grandchildren, ninety-four great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. services will be , 4, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held evening from 6:00-8:00 and one hour prior to the service. |
