Obituary: Jean Crouch, 86, of Sugar Land, Texas passed away on 14, 2016. A native of Madisonville, Texas, Jean was born to the late Carl and Nora Park on 4, 1930. In 1951 Jean married Robert Crouch, settling in Sugar Land in 1961 where she was employed at Nalco Chemical Co. Upon retirement, Jean enjoyed volunteering with her church and community through the Mothers Day Out Program, the Silvertone Choir, and local food pantry. Bowling, 42, and Game Day were among her many hobbies, as well as lunch with friends at Whataburger. Jean was a member of the Sugar Land Baptist Church and faithfully served her Lord. Jeans beautiful smile and faithful spirit were best expressed in her love of the Lord, her family and her friends. She will forever be in our hearts and we will cherish the many memories we have of her. Jean would not want us to cry as she is rejoicing in heaven. Jean is survived by her daughters, Gay Bryson and husband, Harvey, Jan Lacombe and husband, Gregg; grandchildren, Brandi Crone and husband, Trevor, Matthew Bryson, Lindsay Miller and husband, Michael and Stacey Rathbun and husband, Jeremy; great grandchildren, William Miller; brother, Tony Park and wife, Sue. Obituary: James Marshall Crouch, Jr. of McGregor died 16, 2014, at the age of 85. A memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM, , 26, 2014 at Cole Chapel in McGregor with the Reverend Terry Johnston officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. , 25, 2014 at Cole , 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor, Texas. Mr. Crouch was born 28, 1928 in McGregor, Texas, the son of the late James Marshall Crouch and Rachael Brown Crouch. He attended McGregor ISD and was a 1945 graduate. He continued his education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. In 1948 he became the third generation owner/operator of McGregor Milling and Grain. He began working at the mill when he was only a teenager. During his time with McGregor Milling and Grain, he served the board as secretary, vice-president, and president. In 1976, the mill was sold to ESCO Ltd. He continued as manager of the McGregor Division and became Vice-President of ESCO Distributor, Inc. On 31, 1949, James Marshall Crouch and Mary Jo Oswald were married in Bertram, Texas. On 2, 1974, he and Bonnie Edwards were married in Marlin, Texas. He and Fran Anderson were married in 1997. all preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Constantine. Mr. Crouch was very active in community and state organizations. Being a 1952 charter member of the McGregor Lions Club, he held several offices including president. He was a member of the McGregor ISD School Board from 1951 to 1973, serving as president from 1961 to 1966. In 1963 he was President of the Texas Seedmans Association, 1966 was president of Texas Certified Seed Producers, Inc., and in 1995 he was awarded The Distinguished Service Award by the Texas Seed Trade Association. Mr. Crouch was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in McGregor. Survivors include a son, Marshall Crouch III and wife, Paula of Tyler; two daughters, Shelly Reese and husband, A. W. of Salado, Celestia Winkler of Temple; four grandchildren, Robert Marshall Crouch and wife, Tammy, Matthew James Crouch, Sarah-Marie Leonard and husband, Johnathan, Taylor Leigh Winkler, three great-grandchildren. Our family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to The Meridian staff for their great care of our father and the compassion they have shown to our family. Also a our heartfelt thanks to his nurse, Kathy, and all the caring staff of the Temple Scott & White Hospice for the special care they gave to him. Obituary: FORT WORTH -- James Weldon Crouch, 80, passed from this life to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 30, 2012. Service: 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Ft. Worth, 5001 NE Loop 820, Fort Worth, with interment to follow at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Chapel. He was born in Fort Worth on 13, 1932. He grew up in Fort Worth, graduating from Paschal High School. James served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Betty Joyner in of 1955. She died on 15, 1978 and on 4, 1982 he married Doris Madden. He worked for 40 years for Union Pacific Railroad. He was a loyal and dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Fort Worth where he was known as the Cookie Man for the Texas sized chocolate chip cookies he made for many church events. He was preceded in death by his daughter Beverly. Survivors: He is survived by wife, Doris Madden Crouch; brother, Charlie Crouch and wife Barbara; sister-in-law, Sherry Crouch; daughters, Linda Crouch and companion Lynn Chapman, Shirley Kahle and husband Brian; stepdaughter, Jane Madden; stepson, Paul R.
