Obituary: Susan Jeanne Crane was born in Omaha, Nebraska on , 21, 1945 to parents Vernon Crane and Ruth (Johnson) Crane. She passed away early morning 22, 2016 in Spring, Texas at the age of 71. Susan was a very special mentally challenged angel that God placed with our family. She never met a stranger and loved everyone. Susan lived at home until the age of 25 then was placed at Austin State School for a few years and then moved to a group home within Reach Unlimited where she resided for many years. This past year, she was under the care of Gwen Robinson, another angel until her passing. There were many special people who had a part in caring for Susan through the years. She embraced all with so much love and we were all enriched by having her in our lives. Susan is survived by her sister, Sally Hiller; brother in law, David Hiller; nieces, Brandi McRay and husband Travis, Christie Hiller Rodriguez and husband Juan, Brett Eisenhauer, Kyle Hiller and wife Jennifer; many other relatives and several dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ruth Crane; grandparents, Amanda and Otis Crane, Etta and Harry Johnson. Family and friends gathered to celebrate our wonderful angels life during a visitation at the graveside from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. on , 30 at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine in Houston, Texas, 77055. Reverend Carlton Stewart officiated. Obituary: Steve Crane, beloved husband, father, and friend passed away on 28, 2014. He was born May 21, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. Steve is CEO of Delta 1 in Dallas, Texas. He is an inventor, patent holder, and manufacturer of products related to photography and cinema. He owns and manages several commercial properties in Dallas. Steve volunteers with Dallas Juvenile Services, Dallas Police Department, The Citizen Support Team for Dallas Sheriffs Office, FBI Citizen Academy, Dallas District Attorney Prosecutors Citizen Academy, Kids and Cops, and Dallas Junior Police Academy. He has served on the boards of Texans Can Academy, Dallas Childrens Charities, Love For Kids, Airline Ambassadors, Letot Foundation, Dallas Youth Services Advisory Board, and Dallas Coalition of Community Justice Agencies. Robert was a sanitation aide with Citizens Medical with thirty-two years of dedicated service. Survivors include his wife, Darla Morley, of Victoria; son, La Von Crane of Victoria; sisters, Jennifer Elliot, of Houston, Lee Ester Levigne, of Victoria, and Nicole Levigne-Phipps, of Houston; brother, Darryl Crane, of Houston. Graveside services will follow at a later date at the Arkansas National in North Little Rock, AR. Mrs. Crane, the daughter of Albert E. & Irene E. Hoth Blackwell, was born Nov. 1, 1936, in Richmond, VA. She graduated from Poquoson High School in Yorktown, VA. On Jan. 19, 1957, she married Jack Donald Crane, building fifty-seven years of family & memories before his death on 2, 2014. Jackie was an avid gardener and loved housekeeping. She was a giving person and loved singing. All who knew her loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Nathan E. Crane on Feb. 5, 2006.
