Obituary: Faye Nichols Langston Cotter passed away at the age of 94 on , 22, 2014. Mass will be at Calvary Hill North Mausoleum Chapel 3235 Lombardy Ln. Dallas, TX on , 26, 2014 at 10:00 am. A Rosary will be recited prior to Mass. Fr. Robert Maguire, O. Cist. Will be the celebrant. Faye Nichols was born 12, 1920, near Belzoni, in Oklahoma, where her father, Oscar Nicholas was a school teacher. She grew up nearby in Ada, and graduated from Parkland School of in Dallas in of 1939. Faye Nichols was first in her graduating class of registered nurses as well as the youngest. In her later years, she was the last survivor of her class. In the 40s she worked briefly in New York as a live-in surgical nurse at New York Hospital, overlooking the Hudson River and in Washington, D.C., at Doctors Hospital. Faye spent two decades in industrial nursing in Dallas at Texas Instruments, Titche-Goettingers downtown flagship store and other venues. At Titches, Faye set up and ran a six-bed clinic, as well as vaccinated six hundred employees every so often. retiring from nursing, she was the secretary and bookkeeper at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish for a few years. She did considerable volunteer work at the church as sacristan and president of the altar society. Faye was an accomplished dancer, and in her thirties was a part-time instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Dallas. She was one of the founders of the Aesculapian Club of Dallas, composed of physicians, nurses and their spouses. Faye Nichols outlived her husband, Dr. Willaim G. Langston, an obstetrician, and her second spouse, William D. Cotter, a regional manager for U.S. Steel Corporation. She is survived by her only son, Larry C. Langston and her daughter-in-law, Dr. Alexandra Wilhelmsen, of Lewisville, as well as by relatives in Oklahoma. Mrs. Cotter spent the last two and a half years living with her son and his wife. |

Obituary: Roy Dan Cotten, 76, of Lubbock went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, , 2, 2017 at his home in Lubbock. Mr. Cotten was born 11, 1941 in Brownfield, Texas to Roy and Billie Cotten. He graduated from Denver City High School where he met his wife of 53 years, Shirley Reis Cotten, who preceded him in death in 2013. He was a loving husband and devoted family man. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert Cotten and Cheryl Winters of Decatur, Texas; Tony Cotten and his wife Laurie of Lubbock; his daughter Pam Moody and her husband Paul of St Johns, Florida; sister, Annita Blair of St George, UT, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Obituary: Nan Cotten,74, of Trophy Club passed away on , 24, 2015 at Baylor Regional Medical in Grapevine, TX. She will always be remembered as a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born in Dallas on 18, 1941 to Samuel F. Tuthill and Harriet C. Tuthill father and mother. She was an incredible person who enjoyed spending time with other people. She loved the Arts and enjoyed musical theatre. She would find joy in long drives, museums, and live performances. She received her Bachelors Degree from The University of North Texas in Education and her Masters Degree from Prairie View A & M in Special Education. She was a certified Diagnostician and a teacher for twenty years where she specialized in the care for children with disabilities. She loved playing bunco and other games with her ladies groups. She was a member of the garden club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include her husband of 54 years Arthur James Cotten Jr. of Trophy Club; two daughters Candy Delorantis and her husband Frank Delorantis of Farmersville, Jinja Martin and her husband Terry Martin of Dallas, a son Arthur James Cotten III and his wife Tammi of Sachse; five grandchildren Ellen Miller, Daniel Miller, Bret Martin, James Cotten and Kathryn Cotten, brother Neil C. Tuthill of Santa Monica, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, father Samuel F. Tuthill who passed in 1980 and her mother Harriet Tuthill in 1992. A Graveside Service will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park on 1, 2015 at 11:00 am, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX 75225.
