Obituary: Dr. Al Clevenger passed away at his home on 22, 2010. Born Alvah Lovell Clevenger on 21, 1934, in Blackey, Virginia, he was the only child of Clarence and Anne Clevenger. He met his wife, Gale Montgomery, while stationed at the Air Force base in Biloxi, Mississippi. married on 7, 1956. were married almost 54 years. Al lost both his parents at an early age and loved Gales large family as his own. He is survived by his wife, Gale, and their three children & families: Sons Mark Clevenger & wife Mary of Kingwood, TX, David Clevenger & wife Brenda of Gulf Breeze, FL, and daughter Karen Egger & husband John of Cameron, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Whitney & Phillip Clevenger and Amanda, Christopher, and Laura Egger. He graduated from the School of Optometry at the University of Houston in 1962 and worked as an Optometrist in Wichita Falls & Nacogdoches for 47 years and served on the board of the Texas Optometric Association. Al loved antique cars, woodworking, photography, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family at their home. Visitation for friends & family will be held , 24, from 5-7 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Directors in Nacogdoches. services will be held at 2 p.m. , 25, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches. Obituary: Our precious Caleb went to be with his father in Heaven on 2, 2013. Caleb was a child that touched everyone he met and everyone loved him. He was funny, fun and packed every minute of his time here on earth with the things he loved. It is hard to pick which he would say was his favorite thing to do, because he did it all. He would probably say he loved his God first, family second, then his books, violin, scouting and sports. He attended Hutch Jr. HS.,where he started his love for the violin; playing in orchestra and was looking forward to being in the advanced orchestra assemble this coming year. He was in troop #140 of the Boys Scouts of America. Caleb was truly a special gift from God and we will miss him always and forever, but we will see him again in the blink of an eye.
