Obituary: Claudine Pleasant Clark, Ms Claudine Clark passed from this earth and arrived in Heaven on 14th, 2014 at the age of 75 in a fatal car accident in Midland , TX. Claudine was born on 30, 1939 in Maud, Oklahoma to Lavern and Jewell Dudley. Claudine was one of a kind, a vivacious lady with a contagious personality, ready to brighten anyones spirit with her fun sense of humor and caring spirit. She never met a stranger and always made everyone she met feel like they have known her forever. She grew up at Victor Village trailer park where she performed many shows for all the kids in the park and anyone willing to watch her performances. She began attending Temple Baptist Church in 1940s where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was an active member, volunteering in the childrens ministry, singing in the choir for many years where she was known as the side attraction at all rehearsals. In the early years, she would sing live on the church radio station. She will also be remembered for her performances in many plays at the church. She loved to sing and had just in the past few years had been singing in the choir at First Baptist Church. She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship. Claudine retired from Southwestern Bell after 30 years of service, receiving many achievement awards. She was the second woman to be promoted to that of a mans job in the early 70s. This was quite a statement in those years which was not quickly accepted by the men in the department, but with her personality that challenge was quickly achieved. She was also a prankster, which many of her colleagues will remember. her retirement in 1988, she wasn cut out to stay at home; she began working part-time at Matney Shoe Box and Medical Hospital. She was such an asset at Medical Hospital that she was convinced to work fulltime and retired from Medical Hospital as a switchboard operator ten years later. retirement she volunteered at MCH as a pink lady. She enjoyed traveling, but mostly loved being with her family and friends, including her dogs which she considered human and part of the family. She was the most amazing mother, Gigi, great-Gigi, and best friend that any family could ever be blessed with. She played a very active part in daily lives of her two granddaughters Britni (Veretto) and Courtni Coots and will always be Gigi to their many friends. She married Teddy Edgar Pleasant 9th, 1955. were blessed with a wonderful marriage until his death on May 30th, 2003 after a battle with cancer. She was blessed with love again and married Dr. Bill Clark 9th, 2004. were also blessed with a wonderful marriage until his death on 19th, 2007 also with a battle with cancer. Her mother and father, Lavern and Jewell Dudley also preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Connie Coots and son-in-law Pat Coots, a son Eddy Pleasant and his wife Lanecha Pleasant. Survivors also include Six Grandchildren; Crystal Parker and husband David, Rodney Topper, Britni Veretto and husband Micheal, Tyler Pleasant, Courtni Coots and Lindsey Pleasant. Great grandchildren include Mackenzie and Rowdy Topper, Ella and Cooper Frederick, Cullen and Preston Parker. She is survived by 3 sisters, Betty Lindley and husband Don, Joyce Griggs and husband Marcus, Pat Clark and husband Rex. She was also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. Claudine was also survived by her sweet dogs Marley Wayne, Stitch and Molly. Services will be on , 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Crossroads Fellowship with pastor Dr. Griffin Jones officiating and music coordinated by Curtis Brewer. Visitation will be on , 19th at Frank W. Wilson from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial suggestions include Texas Children Hospital in Houston, TX and Childrens Miracle Network. Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Directors. Obituary: Christopher Dale Clark, age 17, passed away , 8, 2006. A senior at Reagan High School, Chris was a member of the Guitar Club. He was very passionate about his music, and enjoyed Âjamming with his friends. Outside of school, he was employed at Whataburger on Evans Road. Chris was a young man who was a delight to know. His wild, wonderful, and silly sense of humor and his caring nature will be remembered by all who knew him. Chris was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Dale and Dorothy Lambird. Chloe was a bookkeeper all her life most of it in retail apparel. She was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church.
