A private burial will be held at Cherry Mound , Cherry Mound, TX Bettie Ray was born on 19, 1946 the daughter of Charles and Margarette (Hodge) Butcher. She was born in Denison and at an early age moved to Amarillo where she grew up and attended schools. She later returned to Denison to raise her family. Bettie Ray is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Chris of Mexia, TX; 2 daughters, Cheryl (husband Donald) Denton of Whitesboro and Karen (husband Matt) Crabtree of Azle, TX; son, Chase Ray of Denison, TX; mother, Margarette Butcher of Denison, TX; 4 grandsons, Blake Crabtree, Derek Denton, David Crabtree and Dakota Denton; 2 granddaughters, Donja Denton and Savannah Crabtree; siblings, Barbara Rowe, Charles Butcher, Jr. and Vicki Kuykendall, all of Denison, TX.
