Obituary: Anthony Tony Cantrell, age 66, of Taylor passed away May 28, 2016 in Temple, TX after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to the late Floyd Cantrell and Carmella Pisano Cantrell in Springfield, Massachusetts on 28, 1949. Tony made his home in Taylor, TX. He served in the Army as a mechanic and was a career mechanic and air conditioner technician. He was an active member of the First Shiloh Baptist Church and enjoyed witnessing to others with His word and by offering Amazing Grace crosses. His interests included fishing, collecting and building hot rod cars, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Debby Ann Cantrell and Edith Deterick. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dorothy Cantrell; his daughter, Nicole Brinson & husband Brent, son, Mark Cantrell; grandchildren, Dustin Brinson and wife Chelsey, Chelsi Tull and husband Bryan, and Collin Brinson; great-granddaughter, Addisyn Tull; mother-in-law, Dorothy Bice; his siblings, and their spouses, Pat Evans, Rosie Cantrell, Floyd & Brenda Cantrell, Henry & Trisha Cantrell, and Monalisa & Bob Sirwatis; and his beloved dog, Sweet Pea. A graveside service will be held on May 30, 2016 at 2pm at Williams-Buck in Liberty Hill, TX. Condolences may be sent to 1115 W. 7th St., Taylor, TX 76574. Obituary: Cindy McAdams Cantor, born 19, 1971, at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. She went to be with our Lord on 16, 2009 after a valiant battle fighting breast cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Ryan Cantor; her two sons, Will (8) and Wyatt (3); her mother and father, Janie and Marty McAdams; sisters, Kerry Bone and Meghan Craig; in-laws, Joyce and Barry Cantor; and many, many loving family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM, on , 20, at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 3803 W. Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood. Cindy lived in New Jersey and Pittsburgh before moving to Kingwood, Texas in 1979. She graduated from Kingwood High School in 1990 and then moved to Station to pursue a degree in Education. There she met her future husband, Ryan Cantor. became college sweethearts and loved participating in everything having to do with being an Aggie. Their favorite part of A&M was building Bonfire each fall. As a Texas A&M University (94) graduate, Cindy moved to Kingwood to begin her career teaching English and became engaged to Ryan, who was an officer in the United States Marine Corps. married in 1995 and traveled around the United States with the military. She continued to teach until they moved to Beaufort, South Carolina, where they had their first child, Will Henry. When Will was one year old, Cindy and Ryan moved back to Kingwood. Five years later, they happily welcomed Wyatt into their lives. Throughout her life, she devoted herself endlessly to her husband and boys with amazing dedication and love. She loved more than anything being a mom, performing that role with grace and joy. Cindy most enjoyed spending time watching Will play baseball, enjoying time outdoors with all three of her oys, volunteering and taking them on special outings. Cindy loved living near her mom and dad and being able to spend time with them on a daily basis. In 2008, Cindy was diagnosed with breast cancer. She tackled this head-on with determination to beat it and continue living life to the fullest for her family. Cindy was thrilled to be able experience Disneyland with her family in when her body was declared cancer-free. Sadly, at the end of 2009, the cancer returned. Cindy continued to fight the disease the past two months with courage, always delivering inspiration to those around her. Her faith in the Lord gave her peace and hope each day of the battle. It was a joyous day for her watching Ryan, Will and Wyatt be baptized in . She passed peacefully and painlessly away surrounded by her family. The impact Cindy has had on all of us throughout her life will never be forgotten, especially the boundless love, hope and faith she shared with everyone throughout her battle with cancer. She will always be remembered for her inspiration and courage. We will forever be thankful for having her as part of our lives and her joyous spirit will remain in our hearts. Obituary: Philip Anthony Phil Canton, 83, residing in Austin, Texas formerly of Elizabethtown, Kentucky passed away peacefully on , 21st, 2015 with his wife and daughter by his side. Phil was born in Uniontown, PA and attended Uniontown High School and St. Vincent Prep School before being awarded a football scholarship to play first string for the West Virginia University Mountaineers. Phil played on the Mountaineer team four years, sometimes playing both offense and defense. One of his favorite memories was playing on the 1953-1954 WVU football team under Coach Arthur Everett Pappy Lewis. During his senior year, his team won the Southern Conference Championship for the first time and went on to later fight Georgia Tech in the 1954 Sugar Bowl. graduation from West Virginia University, he then attended the DT Watson School of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduation from PT school, he was called to active duty as Lieutenant in the Infantry at Ft. Benning, GA. infantry school he was selected to join the Army Medical Specialist Corp to practice Physical Therapy. Phil was a trailblazer and a dedicated officer throughout his 20 year Military career. He was awarded the Legion of Merit and retired from the Army at the rank of Lt. Col as the Director of Physical Therapy at the Ireland Army Hospital at Ft Knox, Ky. He then established the first Physical Therapy clinic at Hardin Memorial Hospital where he was well respected by the doctors, employees of the hospital, and his devoted staff. Phil leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Frances Canton, his beloved daughter Mary Clair Tuttle and husband David Tuttle, grandchildren Robert David Tuttle of Dallas, TX and Mary Elizabeth Tuttle of New York City. Phil is survived by his cherished sister Rosemary DiMarco, brother-in-law Angelo DiMarco, and niece Gina DiMarco of White Oak, PA. Burial with full military honors will be held at Ft.
