Obituary: Geneva Mae (Genny) Cline Berry Campbell passed away May 12, 2013 in Lubbock. She was born 13, 1923 to Henry and Nealy Anna Tapp Cline in Wolfe City, Texas. Genny married Milford Audrian Berry, May 25, 1942, who was killed in action in the south Pacific 13, 1945. She later married Edgar Leroy Campbell 7, 1946 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. enjoyed 48 years together until his death on 31, 1994. Genny is survived by Darryl Berry and wife Carole, Steve Campbell and wife Shari, Alan Campbell and wife Perry; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ralph, Vernon and A.H. Cline, and grandson, Quentin Joel Berry. Genny was a member of First Christian Church, Lubbock where she sang in the choir for many years and volunteered in the office and library. She was a longtime volunteer with Hospice of Lubbock where she was involved in a variety of agency duties including direct patient care, bereavement services and was instrumental in setting up the hospice library. She was honored with numerous awards and recognitions for service over the years. Genny also served on the Hospice Board and the Mayors Luncheon Committee. Genny left us with many wonderful memories and this prayer she said daily written in the front of her Bible: Lord may the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. We love you Genny, Mom, Memaw, Meme. Now you can square dance with Ed again. Come and go visitation will be today, May 14, 2013 from noon until 7:00pm in Resthaven . Memorial services will be tomorrow, May 15 at 1:00 pm in First Christian Church. Burial will be private in Resthaven Memorial Park. Memorials can be made to First Christian Church of Lubbock. Obituary: Gene Allen Campbell passed away 12, 2015. He was born 6, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Brooks and Bennie Mae Campbell. When Gene was 14 years old he was misdiagnosed and had heart surgery due to Rheumatic Fever. He spent 2 years at Baylor Hospital and was not considered to make it. That was not an option and he showed everyone just how tough he really was. At 17 years old he received his GED and went to computer school. In 1965 he met Linda at the mall where they both worked. were married 3, 1966. Gene began working for Ross Perot with the EDS. He was the 10th employee for Mr. Perot. Eventually; he started working as an independent insurance agent. He continued doing insurance for 30years. Gene was a jokester who was not only full of stories but good at telling them. He was a good friend, highly respected and a devoted father. He adored his wife and was very involved with his children and grandchildren. Gene had integrity and love for sports. He cheered for the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He was called by many names but the most used name was Coach! He started coaching his sons baseball team in 1974. In 1988 he got involved with the Grand Prairie Boys Baseball. He is the current President for the Grand Prairie Boys Baseball and also the North Texas State Director for USSSA. When the previous director left the company Genes reputation led to him getting the job. In the past 8 years that he has been running tournaments for USSSA, he has become the #1 largest tournaments director in the USA. Gene was a hard coach but all the players respected him for it. He also had the ability to get his point across without having to raise his voice at the boys. During his coaching, he won more than 30 city championships with various age teams. Several of his players moved on to college baseball where they took the wisdom and skills he taught, to help make their new team better. Gene loved teaching baseball so much he would teach anyone who asked for his help even if they were on an opposing team. Coach Gene was a one of a kind man who touched thousands of lives through baseball. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. Gene is preceded in death by his parents Brooks Campbell and Bennie Mae Sanders; son y Allen Campbell and brother Danny Campbell. Survived by his wife Linda Campbell; son Tim Campbell; grandchildren Jessica Cooper and her husband Ben, Jayci Campbell, Jaydin Campbell, Kaylin Campbell, Jordyn Campbell, Easton Campbell; sisters Sonya Bilbrey and her husband Robert, Diana Campbell; brother Joe Musgreve; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew. Obituary: Garland Campbell, 80, of Houston, Texas passed away on 2, 2011. He was born on 8, 1930 in Amarillo, Texas to Garland Chase and Hettie Lee Campbell. He attended Amarillo Jr. High and High school. He then graduated from Texas Tech University in 1953. Garland moved to Houston in 1969. He worked for the Midcon Corporation (now Kinder Morgan) for over 30 years. Garland was a dedicated member of the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church where he taught school and was an Elder. He also volunteered for Vacation Bible School Little Yellow School House where he was known as Grandpa. His hobbies include fishing, coin collecting, and carpentry. Garland is survived by his wife, Marilyn Campbell; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl & Jerry McKenna; son and daughter-in-law, Steven & Terri Campbell; grandchildren, Tiffany & Jerry McKenna, Cory & Justin Campbell; sister and brother-in-law, Annalee & Pat Patterson; sister-in-law, Darlene Cheshire. Obituary: Frances Gentle Dornan Campbell went to be with the Lord 8/14/2014. She was a long time resident of Oak Ridge/Knoxville TN. She worked for Carbide K-25 in the dispensary for 30 years. She moved to Friendswood TX after retirement in 1984 to be with her only son Lyle and his wife Mary Nell Rice Dornan and their 3 Daughters Dina, Karen, & Tammy. She was an active member of Bay Area First Baptist Church and their Seniors group Jolly 60s from the time she moved to TX until she fell and broke a hip coming out of Jolly 60s 2010. At that time she could no longer able to walk and needed assistant for her care she was in several assisted living facilities. She broke her Femur and had surgery 6/10/2014. She was then moved to Friendswood until her going to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by first husband Samuel Dornan, second husband Thomas D. Campbell, Son Lyle E Dornan, 2 step-sons, Harlan and his wife Barbara, Troy Max (Pete) and his wife Norma Jean, 1 step-daughter Amy Rose (Sue) Campbell Alford and her husband Bill Alford. 1 grandson David Campbell, 1 Great grandson Kenny Wade Sammons.
