Obituary: Collin Conley Campbell, 27, of Houston, Texas, passed away on , 11, 2016.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on 23, 1989. Collin graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2007 and received his BA in Marketing from Texas Tech University. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

Collin had a career in the oil industry working for Cameron for two years and G.E. Oil and Gas for three years in oilfield sales. He enjoyed golf, participated in triathlons, played competitive soccer and he was on the U.S. Olympic Development Squad.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mike and Mary Campbell.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Becky Campbell; grandparents, Ken and Barbara Gereau; sister, Courtney Campbell; and brother, Mike Campbell.

A visitation will be held on , 15, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands , 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. A funeral service will be held on , 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr., The Woodlands, Texas 77380. A reception will be held immediately after the service in Wesley Hall. Interment will take place in Forest Park The Woodlands .

Obituary: James M. Campbell, Colonel, USAF, Retired, died on 13, 2013. He was a life long resident of San Antonio. He graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1940. Mr. Campbell enlisted in the Army Air Corps immediately after Pearl Harbor. He was commissioned and rated as a pilot in of 1943. In World War II he participated in the first B 29 attacks against Japan from bases in China. During the Korean War, he was again assigned to combat duty in B 29s and flew over thirty missions against North Korean targets flying from bases in Japan. During the Vietnam conflict he was assigned to an Airborne Command and Control unit and served as a Director of the Airborne Battle Staff ordering strikes against North Vietnamese targets. Most of Colonel Campbells Air Force career was spent in the Strategic Air Command. He served in aircrew, staff and command positions in B 29, B 47 and B 58 units. He was assigned to the Joint Strategic Target Planning staff at SAC Headquarters with duties in various phases of war planning. He served in the Pentagon on the Air Staff in Strategic Operations. his service in Southeast Asia he was again assigned to the Pentagon serving in the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Strategic Operations. He was a graduate of the Air War . For his military service Col. Campbell received awards of the Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. his military retirement, Col. Campbell earned Bachelors and Masters Degrees from St. Marys University. In 1979 he resumed his flying career. He was employed by Doss Aviation, a private contracting firm that managed the USAF Flight Screening program at Hondo. He served as general manager of this program. He maintained a business association with Doss Aviation until his death. Col. Campbell accrued 16,000 hours in USAF aircraft, 10,000 hours as an active duty pilot and 6,000 hours as a contract pilot flying military aircraft. Col. Campbell is survived by his beloved wife, Irene, of 64 years. He had two children to whom he was deeply devoted and whose character and accomplishments he admired greatly. His son, James M. Campbell, Jr., M.D., resides in Station, Texas with his wife Lisa. His daughter, Shirley Wood, lives in San Antonio with her husband Kimon. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Nicholas Wood (wife Sarah), Jessica Campbell (fiancé Jon Boben), Allison Campbell, Alexandra Wood and Tyler Campbell, and his 2 great-grandchildren, Adalynn Wood and Charles James Wood, who provided him with endless delight.

Obituary: Clarence D. Pete Campbell, passed away , 27, 2008 at the age of 77. Born in Malden, Massachusetts; raised in Connecticut; and fine-tuned in Texas, Pete made San Antonio his home for the past 38 years. His distinguished career in the aerospace industry and government service programs spanned 34 years. Pete was a key members of the NASA team at the Kennedy Space that launched Apollo 11 which successfully accomplished mans first landing on the moon, 20, 1969. His commitment to excellence continued at Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio SWRI as a quality assurance/quality control engineer. At SWRI, Pete supervised numerous projects related to nuclear power technologies. Upon retirement from Southwest Research, Pete and his wife Shelley owned and operated Quality Wood Products of America, Inc., Helotes, TX from 1986-1996. If Pete were to choreograph his journey in the afterlife, his first side trip would be to Luckenbach, Texas and the sounds of Willie, Waylon, and the boys. Thank you Pete, for impacting the lives of your family and friends with your rocket science mind, engaging sense of humor, and robust persona. Survivors include; wife, Shelley Campbell; brother, Ray Campbell and wife, Ida of Hebron, CT; son, Peter D. Campbell and wife, Elizabeth of Groton, CT; daughters, Lynn Strong and Kathy Pounders of Largo, FL; stepson, Tom Warwick III; stepdaughter, Debra Parsley of San Antonio; 10 grand-children; 6 great grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Susie and Oscar Mi Casa es Su Casa for their superlative care. Memorial Service to be held at a future date.
