Obituary: Sandra B. Cable left this world to be with our Lord on May 12, 2011 after a long illness. Sandra was born 10th in Houston, Texas. She attended San Jacinto High School and was a member of the Golden Gauchos in her teens. Sandra married early in life and had seven children that she adored. In addition to her children she was a foster parent to many infant children. Among her many accomplishments as a highly respected business woman, she was a licensed real estate broker, owned and managed apartment buildings throughout Houston. She moved to Stafford Texas in 1969. She ran for office on the Stafford City Council and was elected in the early 1970s where she proudly served for 20 years. In addition to her public service, she was the President of the Houston-Galveston Area Council and a very well read public speaker. She also taught CCD at the Holy Family Catholic Church for many years. Sandra owned and operated a Bail Bonding in Fort Bend for the past 30 years and was a member of the Professional Bondsmen Association of Texas. Sandra was a good friend to many and she was very much admired by all, she was loved and will be missed. Sandra is survived by her children, Nick Cable, Molly Wendt and husband Bruce Wendt, Teresa Cable, Kevin Cable and partner D.K. Miller, Georgia Cable, Amy Cable, Andrew Cable and wife Rebecca Cable. Grandchildren, Malorie Thurman, Ashlee Cable, Callie Richmond, Morgan Wilburn, Caitlyn Cable, Caleb Cable, Cullen Cable. Great grandchildren, Kennedy and Kayden Thompson. Brother, Winston Bernich and Sister Marsha Mitchell, husband Donn Mitchell. Many nieces and nephews. |

Obituary: Juanita Martha Stepan Cabla, age 93, went to be with the Lord on , 25, 2008. She met her Lord at her home in San Antonio while in her daughter Bonnies arms. She was born 31, 1915 to loving Christian parents, Joe A. Stepan and Rose Martinec in Bell , Texas. Juanita fully embraced a love for life and counted herself bountifully blessed all of her life. She accepted and made a public confession of faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior at age thirteen and remained faithful to her last, acknowledging her source of strength and hope in Christ alone. Juanita married Albert C. Cabla on 23, 1936, and celebrated a covenant marriage of 62 years. Their marriage was blessed with one son and two daughters. Her husband preceded her in death in 1997. Juanita had a loving, gentle and quiet spirit. Her generous heart celebrated truth with an unwavering love for God. She was a longtime resident of the Seaton Community and was a member of Temple Bible Church. She moved to San Antonio in 2006 and attended Cornerstone Church in San Antonio. Juanita was preceded into heaven by her parents; her husband; a brother, Jodie Stepan; two sisters, Vallie Stepan Wychopen Tupy and Josephine Stepan Hess Light; a son-in-law, Gerald D. Wilson; and a niece, Betty Jo Stepan. Survivors are a son, Don Cabla and wife Rhonda of Pearland; daughter, Darlene Cabla Wilson Shaw and husband Jim of Bulverde; daughter, Bonnie Lee Cabla of San Antonio; grandchildren, Deborah Wilson Long and husband Spencer of Katy, Dina Gasper and husband Paul of Houston, Stanley Watson of Houston, y M. Cabla of Portland, Oregon, Ashley Watson of Houston, Jordan D. Cabla of Pearland; great-grandchildren, Sarah Long Randall and husband Christopher, Ellen Long of Katy, James Gasper of Houston, Payton Gasper of Houston; great-great-grandson, Aden C. Randall. Also surviving is one sister, Lovie Stepan Gillmeister and husband Emil of Temple and sister-in-law, Betty Stepan Langston of West; and several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Left behind to grieve is Juanitas beloved companion Yorkie Baylor Boy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to International Fellowship of Christians and Jews Wings of Eagles, P.O.
