Survivors include her brother: Mack Hensley of Greene ; sister-in-law: Lounell Hensley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Polly Anna Hensley and was preceded in death by sisters, Denna Heinonen, Mable Shelton, Mary Hensley, Ermia Hensley and Evelyn Joyce Hensley Aiken; brothers, Lewis, Tony, Paul, Allen and Prince Hensley. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill . Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw officiating. Interment will be in Zion in Baileyton. Obituary: Doyle J. Cooter, 72, of Hillcrest Park, Greeneville, died morning, 27, 2011, at Wellmont-Holston Valley Regional Medical in Kingsport. HE was retired from Greene Valley Developmental . Mr. Cooter was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church He was a faithful Christian and always attended as long as his health permitted. He loved children, fishing, his neighbors, and he loved doing good deeds for them. He was kind and gentle to all he knew. He is survived by his wife of 8 years: Linda Cooter; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Betty and M.C. Rollins, Barbara Carmack, and Jeannie and Charles Skeen, all of Greeneville; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Haskell Bud and Ruth Cooter of Mosheim, Ted and Carolyn Cooter and Jerry and Judy Cooter of Afton; step daughter: Melodie Rader of Mohawk and friend Bobby Britton of Greeneville; step son: Jake Mysinger of Greeneville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins; special pet companion: Bumpy; and his special friends: his church family. He was the son of the late Haskell and Otha McGhee Cooter and was preceded in death by a son: Mark Allison Cooter; a brother: Joe S. Cooter; and a brother-in-law: Leroy Carmack. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kiser-Rose Hill preceding the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Tommy Melton will officiate. Interment will follow at 10:00 a.m. at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. It is requested that family and friends that would like to join the family for the committal, meet at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. .
