Obituary: Mr. Alvin Jasper Buddy Collins, 80, longtime resident of Scribners Mill Community, died , 22, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical . services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Tony Lancaster officiating. A native of Elkmont, Alabama he was the son of the late Henderson Collins and Nellie Street Collins. On 21, 1956 he married Marie Kincade Collins who preceded him in death 18, 1993. He was employed as a painter at Monsanto Chemical until they closed then worked from his farm as a mechanic and also painted cars. He loved NASCAR and building dune buggys. He was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ. Survivors include his daughters, Vicki Ann (Jerry) Harden, Vanessa Lynn Mealer both of Lewisburg, Terri (Randy) Young of Columbia; brother, William Ray (Marie) Collins of Shelbyville; sisters, Frances Chapman of Pulaski, Kathy (Cordell) Hobby of Lewisburg; five grandchildren, Tonya (Davin) Bell, Chris Harden, Daniel Harden, Jerry (Lonnie) Harden, Jr., Curtis Mealer; five great grandchildren; and longtime companion of twenty years, Charlotte Roe. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Barney Collins and Thomas Collins. Active pallbearers include Chris Harden, Daniel Harden, James Anderson, Phillip Hobby and Dwayne Hobby. Obituary: services for Mrs. Louise Stockton Collins, age 80, will be held 3 p.m. , 26, 2015 in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Rev. Bobby Miller and Rev. Stanley Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood . She died after a short stay in Jackson Madison General Hospital on , 22, 2015 with family surrounding her. Mrs. Collins was the daughter of the late Mr. Johnny Blake Porter and Mr. Leon Gilliam and Mrs. Elva Porter Gilliam. She was born 8, 1934 in Madison and grew up in Jackson, TN. In 1950, at the young age 16 she was wed to Mr. Horace H. Stockton of Trenton, TN. She followed Mr. Stockton through his career in the Navy for 14 years and returned to Jackson to make their home. She later married Mr. Tony Collins with whom she just celebrated their 32nd anniversary. Over their years together they enjoyed dancing, camping, vacationing, and creating family traditions. She was employed at Rockwell/Porter-Cable for 27 years and retired from the receiving department in 1997. retirement she became involved in the Porter-Cable Retirement Association and served as secretary/treasurer for many years. She was a member of North Jackson Baptist Church and loved singing in the Senior Adult choir with her harmonizing alto voice. She always looked forward to participating in the special Samaritan Purse, Birth Choice, R.I.F.A., and Back-to-School Backpack ministries. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Richard Lynn Stockton; a sister Dianne Porter Vantreese. She is survived by her husband, Tony Collins; three sons, Dave Stockton (Linda Gibson) of Bartlett, Joe Stockton (Diane) of Jackson, Tony Stockton (Katy) of Arlington; two daughters, Teresa Stockton Irvine of Medina, Alicia Collins of Jackson; a sister, Sue Scott of Jackson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, John and Kevin Stockton (Kacey) of Jackson, Amanda and Odell Stockton of Arlington, Mairi Stockton of Bartlett, Leslie Irvine Farley (Aaron) of Jonesboro, AR, and Daniel Irvine of Medina; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also had the joy of knowing that her first great-grandchild Ace Aaron Farley would be arriving in . Obituary: Kyle Teddy Collingsworth age 79 passed away 25, 2009 at the Claiborne . On the morning of 29, 1930, a set of tiny twins were born to Jim and Mattie Collingsworth. The babies were delivered by Old Doc Lynch and he ask that the boy baby be named after his son G. Ted Lynch. As the story goes the baby was named Kyle Teddy. Ted grew up in the Little Sycamore Valley where he attended school and church. At a young age Ted accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and he became a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. On 2, 1954, Ted married Elizabeth Jacqueline Arnold and to this happy union, two daughters were born: Kathy Diane and Lisa Gail. Ted was always known as a hard worker, whether he was farming or driving a truck. But the job that was most dear to him was being one of Powell Valley Electric Boys. Ted worked from May 1, 1972 until 17, 1993, retiring after 21 years of service. Ted will be missed by many friends because he always had a twinkle in his blue eyes, a smile on his face and he never met a stranger. Ted was preceded in death by his father, James S. Collingsworth, his mother, Martha Moore Collingsworth, his brother, Ross Collingsworth, his sister, Cleo Seals and her husband Ernest, his sister Tennie Whitaker, his brother-in-law, Rev. Wallace Brooks and nephew Ross David Whitaker and his wife Sue.
