Obituary: Deanna Lou Clark was born 19, 1996 in Brighton, CO to Harland and Linda (Bauer) Clark. She was raised in Valentine, NE until 2008 when she moved to Rushville, NE with her mother and siblings. In the summer of 2008 Deanna moved to Gregory, SD to live with her father and his friend Nola Grim. During her school years Deanna enjoyed a variety of sports. She was a member of the competitive cheer team and lettered in choir. Deanna was a bright student and peer and a member of the National Honor Society in 2013 and 2014. She graduated from Gregory High School in 2014. In her younger years Deanna and sisters Kay and Angela would visit their father and go out to the farm. Deanna loved these times riding horses, racing four wheelers, jumping in the grain bin, and running across the hay bales where they would get stuck and scream for help. Every chance she got Deanna loved going to the Missouri River and spending time with family and friends. In of 2014 Deanna moved to Mitchell, SD with Bradon Ty Boyer. There she worked at the Corn Palace and was a part of the A.B.A.T.E. Club. In of 2015 she moved back to the Gregory area. Deanna resided with her fiancé Travis Mansheim at the Mansheim Farm near Dallas, SD. On 8, 2016 Deanna passed away at Avera Gregory Hospital after a severe asthma attack at the age of 19 years. Deanna had a heart of gold. She enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with them. Deanna loved and cared about everyone she knew. She is survived by her fiancé Travis Mansheim of Dallas, SD; her mother Linda Powell of Rushville, NE; her father Harland Clark and friend Nola Grim of Gregory, SD; two sisters Kay Clark of Winner, SD and Angela Clark of Gordon, NE; two nieces Iris Clark and Daisha Clark; two nephews Wayne Clark-Westfall and Zander Clark-Westfall; and many other family members and friends. She was proceded in death by her grandparents, Calvin Clark, Deanna Clark, Betty Bauer, and her uncle Alvin Troy (Billy) Clark. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * services for Deanna Clark, 19, of Dallas, SD, were held , 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Dallas American Legion Hall with Pastor Jon Champlin officiating. Colbi Wolkins, Sammi Cornemann, Shayna Cornemann, and Halee Schrader were in charge of registration. Recorded music was You Should Be Here by Cole Swindell and See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth. Soloist, Kati Champlin, sang Three Wooden Crosses and soloist, Nick Stimple sang Follow Me. Casket Bearers were Kay Clark, Angela Clark, Andrew Senter, Amber Underhill, Isaac Cole, William Clark, and Ty Boyer. Honorary Casket Bearers were Deannas nieces and nephews Iris Clark, Daisha Clark, Wayne Clark-Westfall, Zander Clark-Westfall and her fiance Travis Mansheim. |
